Nice post. I couldn't agree more. I hope the decidsion makers are looking down the line into how we can improve on this accomplishment in the seasons to come and even in our other althletic programs. We def. need to capitalize on this. I hope that we are in The Big Dance next year and maybe even seeded higher.

Do we know how our turnout was there? I didn't see much green in the stands.

Not to discredit Memphis as they looked great, but there were certainly areas were we came up short. If you were JJ what would you praise the guys for and what would you work on with them?

I dont think any of the bowl appearances were great accomplishments, only because I feel that for something to be an accomplishment something has to get built upon it. To say we won the NO bowl to be followed up by a few more appearances to the same bowl that we lost, followed by a pair of losing seasons I wouldn't say we accomplished much in winning the NO bowl. Now if we won the NO bowl and then the following year got invited to another 'bigger' bowl. Then I would say we have accomplished something. With that said I think the biggest accomplishment could be making it to March Madness, whether we win or lose. We have had much media attn, and hopefully will attract great recruits. This will be a great accomplishment if we can continue to better the university and it's reputation because of it. Now I say all this reservedly because I know people will disagree with me, so go easy on me. Any thoughts?

How do you set up the ID to get the local games? I was also wondering if the North Texas game would stream.

Is anyone else having trouble streaming the games with CBS? When I go to the waiting room everything is blank.

I as an alum experienced this same problem when trying to register. I eventually came back and logged on and it let me log on. I didn't ever receive a confirmation email. I let the admins know and they said that they haven't heard of anything. Tell them to try to come back and just log on with the information they created. I wonder how many other people have had this same problem.

I'm not too sure about the Memphis fans but it has been said that UNT fans can be quite mean. I hope that whatever happens in any of our sports (when we win) that our players will be respectful and humble winners, if we lose that we wont make excuses but learn from our challenges and grow. As fans and more importantly that we will be respectful winners. I think being an obnoxious winner comes easier to a team that isn't used to winning as the excitment overtakes them. Should we win this game I hope we exhibit class and represent UNT well......and ask Memphis to do the same. Amen!

Does anyone have a link to Memphis' school forum? I am curious to hear what they are saying about playing UNT.

I am just hoping that the new designs make sporting UNT gear more popular. It seems ppl now will wear things whether they know what it means or not as long as it looks cool. I am hoping that we could get the best of those worlds with UNT pride as well as UNT style.

I am not sure if this has been address but thought I would throw it out there. I was watching the game last night with some friends of mine.....as well as patrick cobbs (for a while)...And my friend, who would def know, said that the new under armor uniforms are SWEET. He didn't go into too much detail but he said that the helmets were white, with either black or dark green North Texas on them. All that to say that I'm excited about our new look, with our new coach.

Agreed I will start giving. Now how do we reach the countless thousands that are in DFW? What will make them want to start giving?

EXACTLY! It is your job, its all of our jobs. Thats where the problem is. Everyone thinks its everyone else's job to implement change. Yes, we need a new football stadium, we need a baseball team. Then they say 'Why do we need a new stadium? Whats wrong with the one we have now?' Then, what do you say?

Nice! So what are the negatives if we wait? What are the positives if we start implementing a strategy now?
