Prob. a waste of a post because Mendoza is going nowhere and Bennett would have no desire taking a $400,000 pay cut. Give Mendoza a full season to recruit some players before trying to bag the guy.

I just wanted to say that I signed up for Mean Green Premium and I am streaming the game right now. This is the best $10 bucks I have spent this month. If I would have known it was this easy I would have done it a long time ago

Just a thought but has anyone ever thought that perhaps Mendoza's defense is great and will work perfectly but we just need some recruits to fill the position??? So then the choice becomes: 1) If you're Mendoza you could change the current defense back to what most of the players were used to (3-4) and watch it not work so well and then we all realize that it wasn't the coach but rather the lack of talent on hand.....or 2) If you're Mendoza you could wait on changing your whole defense around, fill those positions with the quality recruits you planned on bringing in anyway, and then have a good defense and good recruits....If you choose 1) There is absolutely NO guarantee that the defense would be any better (just as there isn't if you get rid of Mendoza and bring someone else in) and possibly be even worse...2) You have a few losing seasons until recruits get brought in and the defense could actually be successful. Mendoza is not the problem, the lack of talent with this defense IS. Wait, let him do his thing and recruit some guys to make it work.

Question: Was the student section empty to the left of you? As you were panning and view the Navy section it looked dead empty in the student section but the Navy section looked packed. That is what we need to model ourselves after; getting in the stadium 20 minutes early....i know 'calling the kettle black'.

I agree. It also shows what Vizza can do with more time in the pocket to allow the plays to devolop. I thought our O line did a really good job for protection, but it was prob. because their D line was so bad.

ITS NOT ABOUT STAFF CHANGES....it's about recruits. You DONT throw out the staff after their first 8 games, you wait and pull in talent. IF the staff fails to do this after a few seasons....then you talk about staff changes. PLEASE understand this people.

I think the people that are saying that firing Dodge or ANY of his staff are PATHETIC and completely UNREALISTIC. Dan Hawkins at CU last year won 2 games, did they fire him?? I don't know why people think that the hiring of Dodge would turn the season around in 1 season. We are still playing with the same declining players and talent that we had with Dickey's losing seasons. Yes TD had a nice recruiting class, well lets let them get acclomated to the more seasoned players and have them get acclomated to the new offense and defense. And I'm sorry to say to the unrealistic few this is going to take more than a few months of practice and scrimmages. I will personally say I am glad that we are having such a bad season because when we eventually start winning we will know it was because our head coach TD had a losing and terrible season and the victories will taste so much sweeter. So if you dont like the way things are going this season take your hiatus and report back in 2 years. Otherwise support, stop complaining, and stop trying to rally up troops to get on the "Fire the coaches" badwagon. If there is one thing that we CAN complain about its watching Vizza get pounded because our tackles cant protect anything. But other than that these football games are entertaining.
