I just hate that open area between the athletic center and the stands. What is that all about? I looks terrible.

The law of supply and demand. The more you supply at a cheaper price, the higher the demand; usually quality suffers though I still do not know why this is something to brag about. So what we have cheap tuition of course we're gonna be larger than the other universities in Texas. Sadly, we still fall wayyy behind them in all other areas.

Please someone shoot me now. I would rather do a belly flop off of a 10 story bridge than ever see that conference come together. Please God.....remove us from this thing we call a football conference before all of our 'rivals' get removed first.

I still dont like the idea of having a lot of end zone seats. Those are the ones that are always shown on TV and the ones the players see while marching down field. I do like having the endzone seats covered with something like "Mean Green". That way they will be covered up and if we ever get to a point where we are selling out our stadium we can simply remove the cover and use those seats.

Any names??? Any reasons???

Plus...if our defense sucks next year we will have someone to blame it on and then fire.

Could it be that after watching the pounding that Vizza took last season TD got a little worried about his own son being a QB and decided to heavily recruit to bulk up his line so his son doesn't get hammered. Could it also be that that is one amazingly long sentence with no punctuation and fool of spelling errors.

No one knows he went to UNT.

Is it just me or can the stupid builder of the articles not paste the pictures correctly on Meangreensports? Everytime I am trying to read a story the freaking picture takes up columns of words.

Actually if you saw this guy play this is great news too. I remember watching the games on TV and this guy couldn't block anything. His guy would get by him in a matter of seconds and he would just stand there with his hands up bouncing around like he was waiting for the next one to run by him.

I dont think he is defending SMU but rather pointing out that an entire thread is pointed at making fun of SMU....I would hope that we could grow up a little bit and spend our time being more productive. Much like i have wasted 30 seconds of my life replying to this pointless thread.

Sadly I agree with Firebird. It is almost as if NT isn't even in the running. I too think that JJ at SMU will now encourage the rivalry between TCU and SMU again. I also think that it will hurt TCU's recruiting as well. If we can consistently win against SMU that will show something.

Not to be the negative one but do we really need another defensive coach with little to no college experience? If anything I think we have enough former high school coaches on staff. On the flip side I do like that he played for us and would be passionate about getting our defense up and running.

Sorry MGC donations wont carry the athletic dept. It needs more support from the university. PERIOD. UNT is cheap compared to other universities in Texas. If we charged more we could get more well known professors and all around nicer campus. But that is neither here nor there. Some say its a great value, I guess that is relative. If you care nothing about the universities appearance, its athletics, or how nationally recognized its schools are, then sure its a great value. But if you care about all those other things and want them to become better known....then its a cheap university.

Sorry, UNT is cheap. Cheap in its cost and cheap on what it spends on athletics.

You're right. I don't think facilities or conferences have anything to do with it....only the defense
