Is a kicker a tough position to recruit? Why can't we get a good one? On kickoffs we averaged kicking to their 12 yrd line and then with our poor ST they had an average starting drive at the 35-40 yd line. This is putting to much pressure on our defense. Now, Rice kicked into our end-zone almost every time and we were lucky if we got out to the 20 (wind taken into acct for both teams). I won't even mention the fieldgoals. We need a new kicker with a leg.

I thought about this after I left the game last night. My initial reaction and thought was "Man that was a good game, sad we lost", the I thought for a second "We are playing so much better now than we have and we look like a different team". But then I stopped myself and said "No, I am not going to make excuses to try to make myself feel better for a game we should have won". We had a few STUPID play calls (riley on 3rd & 2 in our own 15?? - Did they really think he was going to throw the ball when we did the same thing earlier in the game?) I'm not calling for Dodge's head yet, but I am not going to sit there and accept that we are merely "playing better" than we have in the past 4 years....because truth is we couldn't have played much worse in that time.

Harry can we have the bottom 10? just saying...

UNT - 21 Rice - 21 just sayin....

Rice's performance was very similar to UNT's, however, if you look at the score they scored a trash TD in the last few seconds of the game which scoreboard to scoreboard makes them look better, but the one thing to note is that they were playing a top 10 team and we were not. Also, I dont know why anyone would even think that Rice would ever be a cake walk. Sure they had a bad record last year but so did we.

Serious? I think this goes down as one of the worst posts I have ever read. First, do you have nothing better to do than fantasize about a game to this detail that we haven't played yet? Second, what have you seen in the past few years that I haven't that makes you think we are going to put up 22 points or keep them at only 1 TD in the first quarter? Due to the "instability" of the MWC I think they will all try to join the SunBelt.

Only? Look I gagree that this logo may be better than something in the past but lets face it, no one even looks at the conference logo. I watch college football all the time and can't recall any conference logo off the top of my head. But 10 years is quite a long time to establish a name for yourself...and I think we have, it's just not the "name" any of us want.

Without Fresno St., Nevada, and Boise the WAC is a no go. I think the SB should drop some of the current member and pick up some of the WAC members. Personally I would like to see both Louisiana schools go and possibly the FL schools.

This is what I was thinking. If the WAC fails this is terrible news for us because that means there are an influx of "more desirable" teams for CUSA to pick over us. As you stated La Tech is one of them...I hope the WAC can stay together so we can go to CUSA or MWC.

If this is true then this is good news for the WAC. BYU is good in Baseball and Basketball and riding bikes with white shirts and black ties.

My goal is to get to the top of this list in one month. SBC praise here we come.
