I disgagree. If this is the case then why not drop down to Div II (or whatever it is) so we can win? If it is solely about winning that gets everyone on board then this should work right?? Winning is important but almost equally as important is the quality of those wins. Because we're sucking in the SBC I refuse to use it as a barometer because as soon as we start winning we become content...until, of course, we start losing again.

Agree. I don't understand why everyone wants him to be the next coach; he has won 1(one) game and lets not forget that it was against a WKU team that was 1-6 and are they even a D1 team? Also, we are (4-0) against them. Finally, lets not forget that it was a one possession lead at half time and not until the 4th QTR that we scored 17 points. I'm all for giving him a chance but I would wait a few more games. I bet that after the Troy game everyone will resume the "Next Head Coach Poll".

Well...to state the obvious....he couldn't do worse than Dodge.

A proven coach that no one has heard of.

The issue is not what RV has done but rather could someone else have done the same thing and more in the same tenure. Everyone praises RV for accomplishing all he has (and rightly so) but the automatic assumption is that no one else could have done what he has and we are so fortunate to have him. We dont know this is true and it could quite possibly be that if we had someone else we would have all the same and possibly be winning right now and possibly in a different conference.

My friend was driving in from out of town and the first thing he said when he pulled up was "Dude on our way here we saw this huge fire...I mean it was really big and there were like a thousand cars in the parking lots". I was pretty glad for this since he is from Austin and used to UT stuff.

Gagree. We need a proven coach to come and make an immediate impact in the short term and continue to improve on that (much like June Jones has done at SMU). We do not need some assistant coach looking for his chance to be a Head Coach.
