Just thought I would let everyone know that I am back safely. Thank you.

We are actually in Madrid now and we head to Toledo for the day tomorrow then Barcelona for two days on wed then back to Madrid. Any good places to eat in Madrid? How about Barcelona?

I have to admit that u all motivated me to visit GMG. So here I am: We have checked into a hotel, it's off of one of the main squares here. I did sleep 15 minutes on the 7 hr plane ride and can barely stay awake now. We got in at 5:45 last night and people were still out partying on the streets. Our hotel room is small but has a budet...it is my goal to use this after a duey at some point. There are street musicians everywhere...and beggars too. I am happily married but even my wife commented on how pretty the girls are here...an they really are. We r going to a bull fight Sunday and rooting for the bull. I will share more stories as they come. For now, I'm going streaking.

Agree. I'm sick of all this "new era" talk. Lets just wait until September and then see how things pan out. How many "new eras" are we going to have?? The Dickey era, Dodge era, Mac era.......I want a freaking "era" that is called "The Winning Era".

I apologize for my post last night...I had one too many White Russians while watching the new Karate Kid...you understand.

Does everything think that we deserved the championships a few years ago? I'm not so sure.

I have been saying this for years. The SBC refs are terrible and make watching the games painful because as soon as you get into it...whistle blow. I think we have the same issue with our football refs.

Perhaps this should get moved to the football forum since it's not basketball related.

NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT NOT SUPPORTING THE TEAM. If you will climb off your soap box for a second, the only thing that was mentioned was that those games, to me, were not as important as others on this board think. I guess if your standard is just to win in the Sunbelt...then yeah, those could have been important although meaningless if we don't win tonight. And to untjim, if we lose tonight do you think I (and others) are going to brag "we beat FAU but lost to WKU in the semi's" or "this past season we beat TT and LSU". Personally, I think those are greater accomplishments and one's that stick with the program longer. Now, if we win and go to the Dance again then that is more worthy of bragging.

Remind me again how this is relevant to the topic at hand? How much money have you given to the program written on your degree?

Was it a big win or was last month's a big loss? I have to agree that the past 3 wins we have had are def better than losses but it really doesn't mean anything (to the rest of the world) unless we win tonight and then play competitive in the Dance. I would argue that the biggest wins we have had were against TT and LSU.
