  1. Props to Harold Stewart, Q, and Ben Bell. They really carried us on an off-night for Kendrick Davis (1-18?). Good teams have players stepup when needed and we really had that tonight.
  2. Huge win!!!! Players really stepped up the intensity in the second half.
  3. I can't take these close finishes!
  4. Some nice adjustments and great play so far by Q and Harold Stewart. 46-42 ULM with 11:55 to go.
  5. It's looking pretty bad right now. Definitely missing the intensity we had last game. Didn't help that both CWat and Wooden are in foul trouble. I'm not sure what the foul differential was, but I'm pretty sure we never made it to the 1 and 1, while they did about 7 minutes in. We need to correct that in the second half, and guard the darn three!!!
  6. Will be there...Go Mean Green!
  7. The only reason I can think he called the TO was because he was changing up his philosophy of inbounds passes late in the game. I heard they were sending Howerton in to guard the inbounds pass....then my internet feed cutout and picked back up with Q shooting freethrows. Not sure if he stuck with that formation or not.
  8. I wouldn't say it sold like crap, it did go 5X platinum.
  9. It means pay us some money and we'll give you our "expert" assessment...
  10. I think we were attacking until Wooden went out, that's when things really changed. We would throw it in to Q, but the double team would be there quick. I think when Wooden was in there WKY couldn't double as often.
  11. I was really impressed with the game plan and execution last night. We new we had a height and size advantage and we took care of that. They are also obviously an outside shooting team and we counteracted that by putting Rich Young in the starting lineup, which was a great move. I hope our players come down from their high and are ready to play on Saturday. I can't wait.
  12. I think what people are saying is that everyone that played scored. Can't answer your other question.
  13. Could come down to free throws. That scares me...
  14. Sorry we gave it to Scoggins, coaches need him to bulk up...
  15. I don't think anyone answered your question because no one had any idea what the heck you were talking about.
  16. We only have 21,000 student?
  17. 3,4,5 money games a year, I guess I don't remember those years? I also didn't know we were Division I-AA for the 25-30 years before Dickey got here...
  18. I think the minimum is somewhere between 200-230K, which he would get a pro-rated portion of that for the time he was on the team. He'd also get a pro-rated portion of his practice squad salary that is somewhere between 60-90k. He might just be thrifty knowing that an NFL career can be short.
  19. No excuse for this one. The team needs to figure out how to stop other team's star player as well as the three. I'm a big JJ supporter, but it's getting ridiculous.
  20. Neither did Tre, his dad did.
  21. I think he should pay his dues as well, and I don't think running backs coach is where you begin. As it was stated above, he should begin as a GA somewhere, or have some sort if coaching experience. I think running backs coach would be too much of a jump. Also I don't believe the Steelers won that Super bowl. Craig
  22. Harry, It's still a no go for me. Just add me if you could whenever you get the chance, no rush, I sent you a pm yesterday. Thanks, Craig
  23. It would be nice if we could only schedule teams we realistically believe we can beat year in and year iut (we'd have to know that since scheduling is done in advance), but I don't believe that's an economic reality for us. I think as of right now a money game each year is probably necessary for the financial viability of our program. The fact that many of our game for the next few years are already scheduled causes a few more problems with that scenario. All in all though, I think the scheduling that last few years has been vastly improved, as we are usually only scheduling one game that I would percieve to be of the body-bad variety. It would be nice to be able to get all of Denton (all of Dallas would be even better) behind the Mean Green, whether that can be done remains to be seen, but I believe hiring Todd Dodge is a step in that direction...
