Thanks for your thoughts on Mitchell. It's clearly only the UNT super fans who think he's got a shot at the NBA. I mean it's not like ESPN's draft Guru has him rated 40th in the country or NBADRAFT.NET has him slated to go with the #8 pick in the 2013 draft or anything like that. It's clearly just our fans pumping our players full of praise as usual. Also if you think players like Mitchell are a dime a dozen...then you must only watch teams like UNC, Duke, Syracuse etc. Also really hard to call Jordan Hill a bust when he is only starting his 3rd season and spent his first season split between two teams.

There is a difference, but not in when they can play. If they are not released they have to pay their own way for a year before they can be put on scholarship.

Didn't you hear his big idea? We should put poor kids to work cleaning their own schools...you know, give them a taste of what their future career will be? I didn't hear him make an such suggestion for kids in the suburbs, so all our kids should be safe.

FIU was definitely a bad game for us, but the next home game we had huge attendance. I have a hard time faulting him for our performance against Tulsa and ASU. Tulsa's losses are against OU, OSU, Boise, and UH and ASU won ten games this year. Clearly both programs much farther along than us...on top of that the starting QB was injured in both of those games. I have a hard time faulting DMAC in any way for the low student turnout.

Walton needs to learn how to play with a lead...no need to keep jacking up 3's early in the clock.
