I know what you mean...he was really slacking when he went for 34 & 16 in the OT win @ USA...same thing with the 30 & 17 in the OT win over Denver. He really needs to pick it up.

I believe the contests are typically limited to seniors. I could be wrong though.

I'm down to play again. XL shirt for me. 5-10, primarily a jump shooter. I have dropped 20 lbs since last years game, so maybe I will be a little bit quicker this go around.

Give me a break. I said they didn't live up to their responsibilities. What I take exception to is your name calling and holier than thou attitude. They are kids and kids make mistakes. Sure it's worse for us because of their high profile...but it's not like they are the only freshman who run into this situation. Sure they have better access to tutoring and academic advisors, but they also have way more time demands then a typical (ie non working student) has.

Wow, I hope the players don't read the board with fans like this... The players did not live up to their responsibilities, let's leave it at that and hope they are able to succeed between this semester and the summer to get back on track...not only so they can play basketball, but so their eductation can provide them a better life. Much like you say the poster who responded to you doesn't know you, you don't know either of these guys either! Just because someone has a lot of tools at their disposal, doesn't necessarily mean the transition to college is smooth.

Yep It's really handy since alot of times I can't catch the games live. So I log into the player before I go to work and when I get home after the game, I will refresh and the replay is there. That way I can watch without seeing if we won or lost...makes the game still exciting.

Yea, I think the three of them got together to vent their frustrations.

I feel like we should just stop justifying your posts with responses...but I feel baited anyway. If the zone is an effective way to guard the 3, then why is it EVERY time a team switches to zone, the first thing out of the commentators mouth is either "switching to the zone, have to be careful because it leads to an open three" or "XTeam is switching to the zone Y Team will have to shoot their way out of it". Is it that every single basketball announcer knows less about basketball than you?

They shot 7-25...28%, right at their average.

His point wasn't that the % we make is great. His point was on the % of threes we shoot. He was dismissing your comment insinuating that all we do is jack up threes, by showing you that we shoot less threes than most of our conference mates.

13 combined free throws in that game...wish our game had been called like that.

I don't think so. He probably didn't practice over the Christmas break, so he is just happy to be back. That would be my guess.

Losing this game still hurts, must hurt way more for the players. It reminds me of another game where we lost on a last second shot (one that DEFINITELY shouldn't have counted). I can only hope this loss brings the team together like that one did that year and we end up with similar results (minus a hand through a glass door).

Agree with that in general, but alot of those points can be attributed to the goal tends. Also many of the fouls were called on perimeter.
