  1. If he isn't able to get 7-10 good minutes a night, I think redshirting would be a good idea. After next year we lose Walton, Patton, and Holmen, which would definitely open up time for him at the 2 or 3.
  2. I think usually it's 50/50 when a coach leaves to take another job whether the school would block a signed player from following the coach. I think schools like to prevent this to keep the coach from poaching all the schools quality recruits leaving the old school in a bad spot.
  3. If our schedule is consistent with last year, I would say 7 losses or under is not unreasonable. If we schedule a more difficult non conference schedule we may have a few more losses, but also be prepared come tournament time.
  4. Sounds to me like maybe Odoh didn't want to come here after the coaching change? If that is the case, I say release him to teams not on our schedule or in this case LSU as well.
  5. I'm pretty sure that it's been reported that Pye is signing with Texas A&M - CC. This doesn't affect the other two, we would be swapping these two guys for Robinson and Odoh...which Vito has now confirmed.
  6. I think the assumption is Robinson and Odoh are out, all we have right now is speculation.
  7. It would take quite a few injuries or other issues for Trey to be the sixth man.
  8. Pretty sure that's what I heard as well. So hopefully this guy isn't designed to replace Norris on the roster, however assuming Jones is back, I could potentially see it causing his playing time to decrease.
  9. Fran, primarily because of his head coaching experience. Shawn Forrest is a very close second to me because out of the three I think he has the best chance to keep the team together and he has obviously shown himself to be a great metroplex recruiter. Benford is a far distant third, like so far back that the other two don't even realize he is behind them. Regardless of who is chosen, I will still support the team and cheer on North Texas because this is my school and that is what I do.

  20. I'd really like to see Mitchell be more aggressive in the second half. The time he had the ball in the paint and fired a pass to Niko, I would have much rather seen him attack there.
  21. The way we are playing seems like we are disinterested in playing any more games. If this team shows up it will be a very short stay in Hot Springs.
