Doesn't help them that so few of the shots are open. Tired of watching pass the ball around 6-7 feet behind the three point line followed by a shot rushed before shot clock violation. Thought coach said we would get out and run...guess he just meant they would get out and run in practice before the game...

Frustrating thing is Benford said his expectations were to be a great team (20+ wins)...I'd like to hear from him his assessment on how we are doing and how he measures their performance? Walton certainly isn't the reason for this, given the talent we have, any good coach could design a game plan for us to be successful...still waiting to see even a glimpse of this.

Loss by 20 might be too optimistic...Akol drilling 3's? Offense has even less purpose and flow then normal...how many games before we pull the plug?

Mitchell needs to play like second have Jackson State Mitchell.

He did some good things out there...we do still need some shooters though, don't necessarily think he fits that description.

Pretty happy with what I saw in the second half. Really wish he could shoot better, but definitely appreciated his hustle and intensity on getting to glass and getting hands in passing lanes/loose balls. Some of the shots he missed around the basket were tough shots in traffic, a little more seasoning and I think those will be easy put backs for him.

Agreed, I think maybe we should start every game with Tony getting pushed and a double tech. Soon as those things happened, everyone played harder.

I think some things got better...still a lot of work to do. It seems so often that we have one or two people click, but then the rest of the team is way below average, we need to find a way to win those kind of games in order to have any success.

We out rebounded them by 7, otherwise I agree. Another telling stat, 7 assists for us compared to 14 for them...on the same amount of made buckets. Tells me we are not getting shots off of ball movement...

Hard to argue with that. When Benford was hired he set some pretty lofty expectations for him and the team. Would LOVE to hear how he thinks those expectations are being met...
