Carlos pulls a rabbit out of a hat and goes from 100th place after round 1 to finish day to in 21st. Day 1 was rough as he had a +5 on a par 3...he continues to play really well, especially as a rookie.

Murray State has 6 losses on the year...

Tony seems to be playing well. Looks like double figure scoring every game and getting his fair share if rebounds, blocks, and steals. I think the team is 5-0 in games he has played in(he was out one game). Hopefully he will get valuable court time and an invite to a summer league team.

Hope we are recruiting this kid. At Skyline-Allen game. He is a player.

Another game last night, finished with 11 points (on only 4 shots) and 8 rebounds. Seems to be playing well, hopefully if the Pistons stick with their trajectory this year he will get some NBA minutes.

Every post he more and more hedges our chances against them...he's only a few more posts away from saying we lose by 50.

It is somewhat common when team is in close proximity to the NBA team to see frequent moved like this - send him down for actual game time...call him up so he can participate in NBA practices with the main coaching staff.

It's slang the kids use these days to describe getting some playing time.

I think it's just red zone scoring based on what was on TV, not necessarily TD's...also problem is % may be high, but number if opportunities over the last 6 games or so has not been nearly plentiful enough to win consistently.

I want a new OC, but it will only matter and make an impact if McCarney is willing to completely turn over control of the offense - otherwise we will end up with the same boring crap that leads to another season below 500. Also we really need to step it up in recruiting - I know most on here heavily discount the recruiting rankings, but continually finishing in the bottom 3 or 4 in our conference is clearly catching up with us.

Also hard to get excited when we are ranked 11 out of 12 teams in recruiting according to rivals...

Agree. I was really upset when it initially happened, as I am sure he was and still is. Bottom line he knew what a lot of us fans know - that was our best chance to put it in the end zone with the game plan we called. Can't fault him for trying to make a play.

Whitfield can give back his scholarship now.
