  1. Is this the least excited you have ever been for a UNT Homecoming? I've been following 15 years and can't think of a year I was any less excited...and I lived through Dodge.
  2. Agree - was just giving you all a hard time. I'm not wearing black for this game, but may protest the rest by just not showing up...
  3. Remember the last time we wore all black to send a message! That was well received by the fans!

So having no mistakes all week in practice is OK even if you are not able to move the ball, continually get sacked on third down, have most games with more turn overs than touchdowns, generally look like you are only aware of one receiver on the field and only move the ball when the game is far out of reach....but making a poor decision in your first opportunity when you actually got the team in position to score is the problem? What's worse, taking a sack at the 20 and punting so USM can take over at their 40, or throwing a pick in the end zone?

Smith seemed rough around the edges, but also found it interesting that they ran basically a completely different offense with him in - instead of the one that McNulty runs that seems to give him a better shot. Also we know what we have in McNulty and he is done after this year, time to figure out if Smith might be the answer for the next year...
  6. If nothing changes after this year, this is my last year buying season tickets until it does. I can no longer justify the $ or time investment if the AD and school aren't committed to success. It's a joke at this point.

  13. So in order for Smith to play, he needs to be more consistent...but for McNulty to continue to play in games, it's OK if that consistently leads to turn overs? Makes sense to me...

  17. I think it will be one of those things where he gets some run in training camp and pre-season. If he looks good he will probably get a shot with their D-League affiliate so they can keep an eye on him. I think they already have a minimum of 15 guaranteed contracts. Very happy for him though!

  21. 5-7...hope I'm wrong. I think our floor is 3 wins and ceiling is 7 wins, too much unknown, so I'll pick the middle ground.
  22. I think the switch to Domincan Republic must have been recent as he played 23 games for Atleticos San German and averaged 10 & 7 with 2 blocks per game. Not sure the timing of the league in Domincan Republic, but they have a few former NBA players in Reshawn Terry and Luther Head.
  23. Gray Eagle - Ward is on scholarship. The classes listed are their current classifications - so next year we will have a minimum of 3 seniors if all of those guys stick around (Eaglin, Ahmed, Aniefok). Ward may also be a senior as I am not sure if he still had a red shirt available. If we think one person is gone, I would assume it would be Eaglin, White-Pittman, Harris or Ward...Who knows with this coaching staff,
