Ditto. I'm always in Tulsa for Christmas, so I could just extend the vacation a bit. I'd consider it the greatest Christmas present ever in the history of everything.

Yeah. I mean, being a grown man and getting on a computer to pretend you are someone you're not, that you have special knowledge and abilities and can do things that you can't in the real world. Who does that?

Egi Gjikondi talks about upcoming visit to UNT

Perhaps you are confusing questioning veracity with volition. I'm not one of the posters who responds to your posts with insults, so try and consider this perspective. You've identified yourself as a former NT student. And you have voluntarily chosen to continue to visit this board. However, as of late, your contributions have indicated more of a desire to take shots at those of us who still self-identify as having an interest in all things NT (probably the only common denominator for most active posters here). This active choice of yours to be consistently negative or mocking puts your motivations more in line with posters who semi-frequent here but have not indicated previous NT-affiliation (GLG and FroggyStyle for example) but who somehow choose to devote hours of their week to posting on a board that they seem to have no affiliation with outside of wanting to make themselves feel superior in some capacity. I remember your posts as the former EagleGreen. You were not a troll or tool then. You genuinely seemed to care about NT. Perhaps that is why you are getting negative feedback as opposed to some of us not "understanding" your righteous veracity on all topics. There is so much difference of opinion on this board, but for the most part excluding a few exceptional or overwrought topics, we all feel a bond based upon our ties to NT; that is why we choose to come here; and that breeds a certain amount of respect despite differences of opinion. You have placed yourself is some ambivalent place between us and the GLGs/Froggies. That's not a position myself or most NT-faithful would want to find ourselves within, much less actively work to put ourselves there. So that's just my opinion of why you find yourself where you are at. I don't think it's about the unpopular veracity of your statements, and it has more to do with wondering why you've chosen to put yourself in that position as a former NT student.

Pretty classless and unimaginative. This could only be redeemed if the FakeTonyBenford tweeted ""Come after me! I'm a man! I'm forty!"

#34 is pure genius.

Listen. We get it. You're related to Konockus Sashington. Coach Mac only wants to play his guys, regardless of their obvious nomenclatural awesomeness. He's obviously blinded by favoritism for his guys. That said, if he lands that recruit named F4hour Ermahgerd Sterraz, then he's a genius.

McCarney to take long look at roster and signing day thoughts
Shuke-D replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
No doubt you are correct. I think my recollection of him is partly because he followed Luis Silva as tight end. Silva was just cat-quick and made LBs/safeties look silly (of course, he also played against D1AA competition). It seemed to me at the time that Waters was slower and more of a get the catch and hit someone TE. I still remember him bowling through 3 guys to score a TD on Louisville in 95. But it is relative. -
McCarney to take long look at roster and signing day thoughts
Shuke-D replied to Harry's topic in Mean Green Football
I can. I remember watching Brian Waters play TE. He didn't pick up yards quickly, but he got them. -
Thanks Harry. I'm not doing anything special today. I'm just at the Home Depot using the Gift Card Craig James got me.

It's the only way a country of our age will get work in this industry. Throw in a suprise amphibious assualt, and they won't know what to say. -
Petraeus resigns
Shuke-D replied to H-towngreen's topic in The Eagles Nest (There Should be Pie For Everyone Forum)
This is all unpatriotic speculation on our part. Petraeus is not the type of person that annouces a timetable for withdrawal. He will not pull out until the job is done. 'Murica!!! -
So, they're like a mullet? First class.

You mean there's two halfs in a football game?

As an avid hiker who gets in 4-5 hikes a year, the bye week is the only weekend I get to go somewhere in the Fall. Last year, it was a three day hike from the western edge of Joshua Tree National Park to the Eastern edge. Leaving tonight to do the Santa Rosa Mountains. Base camp at Horse Thief Creek. Day hikes to the Pinyon Flats, Mount Martinez, and the Cactus Springs.

Wanna see the NT vs. UH game but can't make it to Houston?
Shuke-D replied to UNT 90 Grad's topic in Mean Green Football
Same here. -
On the down side, two missed field goals. We're moving the ball and controlling the clock, but we're not putting points on the board to show for the effort.
