  1. I'll take that action... K-State by 24 WILL BE a sure bet.
  2. Sad, ain't it?
  3. It is an issue, but our total inability to give him time or establish the run and a terrible performance in the play-calling dept. are what's forcing him into a position where he NEEDS to pass downfield. Let's stick with the guy who has a little experience now, and let's see if he can lead. ESPECIALLY this week, with a DEFINATE LOSS, keep him in an get him the reps and experience. Ask me this question AFTER a loss to Troy, and I'll be feeling different about it.
  4. I'm glad Dickey feels so strong... Hopefully with talk will come action.
  5. Too early to change. I don't think Meager alone is the issue.
  6. I guess that bothers me a little more...
  7. Did you watch the same game I did? The O-Line was OWNED ALL NIGHT LONG. They looked like a High School JV team. I have a hard time beating on Meager with a line that looks this bad.
  8. Saturday's pre-game festivities were GREAT!
  9. With a young and weak line, we should be using BOTH weapons in the backfield. Use the element of surprise to help get the running game moving behind a weak line.
  10. I don't care if we have a young Troy Aikman, Steve Young or Brett Farve in the backfield. Our offensive line SUCKS. We’re quick to blame the freshman QB situation, but I don’t think that’s the bulk of it. We shouldn’t be putting the game in his hands, and we are. We’ve got a line that can’t give him time, and a coach that puts him in the position of making it happen, despite his youth and inexperience. BOTH running backs should be in the backfield EVERY FRICKIN’ PLAY! They won’t be able to blitz every play if they don’t know what side the ball is coming from, or which player will get it. With a weak line, we should be attempting to capitalize on the element of surprise. Dickey and the Coaching Staff being unwilling or unable to analyze their players and the talent they have and creating a system around that group is the biggest reason we are where we are right now. I REALLY HOPE that they have this figured out, and are simply hiding it until ‘Belt play, but I don’t have much faith in that hope.

Man, don't you think you're being aweful generous? LOL! Seiously, I'm thinkin'... KSU - 61 NT - 0 ...The ONLY way we score is on a freak turnover. This offense has got NOTHING! DD is not using the weapons he DOES have in a manner that defies logic. Unless this changes, I don't think we can score on anyone. Not a 'belt member, and CERTAINLY not a member of the Big XII.
  12. This conversation is irrlevant... RV is gone with Dr. Pohl. Our world is about to change... BET ON IT.
  13. Band Unis were excellent, and have the official new green color... A tad lighter than the Football Unis. The puke green and the kelly/lime green on many of the shirts is not THE official deal.
  14. I gotta say, I agree with you.
  15. C'mon... the D did NOT give up. They were tired... The offense didn't give them ANY time off the field due to the impotence. DD Is not the entire problem. I do think the play calling, or perhaps the entire offensive scheme is lacking. When we have 2 marquis running backs, a questionable O-Line and a freshman QB, why are they A. not on the field at the same time, all the time, and B. why in God's holy name are we passing the ball, and C. why are we running the same screen play 10 times in the same game when it doesn't work once? I REALLY HOPE before we have to face a Sunbelt opponent, they really look at what they have and revamp the scheme. Even with a weak O-Line, Cobbs and Thomas in the backfield would force the other team to over commit to the run, and they would have an element of surprise and get some positive yardage. DD got us here. I'm the first guy in the stands to yell for Dickey when things go bad, and Dickey did not have control of his team tonight... but there are certainly more problems here than Dickey. We will lose ALL of the remaining OOC games, perhaps badly, and we'll be lucky to be .500 in the 'Belt if the team I saw tonight and last week (the only difference is that last week we got lucky) is the same team that we field against our 'Belt opponents. ...All this being said... It's not the end of the world, and it doesn't take away from how far we as a School and this program has come. This is a talented group of guys, and with some experience can be a good team. Can this young group take care of business throughout this year? I have doubts... but we'll suppor them all the way 'till the end, and we'll support them as they grow into the team they want to and can be.
  16. Well, after seeing this team play two games, what do you think, HONESTLY of our chances to repeat? Explain.
  17. Those were great!
  18. I don't know how many you should make, but make one for me!
  19. North, Texas, Texas, Mean, North, Texas, Tastes Great, Less Filling? Maybe we need some additional yell practice.
  20. I think this is a stellar Idea. I like things that aren't started by us, but that we take and run with. Evil Empire of the Sunbelt is a GREAT ONE!
  21. I'm looking at my dipolma right now... NO "THE"...
  22. Wow... This thread is amazing. We've got green goggles, I tell ya! TCU played very well, there were bad calls that went both ways, like in most games. TCU wins won't hurt us. More attention to Metroplex football can only help UNT in the long run.
  23. Thanks for the link... Enjoyable watch.
  24. I'm shocked that "pissing on the wall" and a good idea showed up in the same post... Wonders never cease. We might even beat LSU!
  25. You are correct... I was thinking of Blackstone. Hotel Online only first reported the Cendant thing this week...
