  1. Just continue to take care of business and win and we'll see Junior more often. Corby goes to some TCU games ever season and has been for a while now. Will both Snake and Junior ever become die hard fans of the schools they went to? No probably not, at least not with Corby. But the key is changing these people's perception of the school and the program. I think at this point that is all you can hope and ask for.
  2. Relax. It's the interweb.
  3. Let's focus on UTSA you wankers! This is what they want...GMG infighting!
  4. Isn't it fun to be able to a laugh a little?
  5. Shut it down. Let's go home.
  6. It's not necessarily just about athletics. If they get reconnected with the university and get more involved then that's all we can really hope for and ask for. If they get involved there may be something involved monetarily. Maybe joining the alumni association which isn't free. Once they join, then may be can organize or attend alumni events where they live. In this case it may be somewhere in Michigan. While Athletics is important, this type of outreach is all inclusive in regards to UNT.
  7. Jub Jub was talking about our game with Georgia this year and how there was a police escort from Atlanta all the way to Athens and back.
  8. Does Grubes still attend NT? I know he got a job with the Stars now but I thought he was still a student. Or maybe he graduated? A Grubes commitment to UNT in the Twitter world would seriously help us in getting some notice and publicity.
  9. Where do we get that shirt?
  10. I'll also add that Jub Jub spent a minute or two on talking about Sarge, his military past and the award he received.
  11. In this case there is a two way street but again this stems from years and years of having a disconnect with alumni from the administration. It's a work in progress but it will take some hardcore outreach and advertising to get them back. Maybe have a campaign to reconnect with lost alumni by saying "if you've lost touch with us, we want to have you back and reconnect" or something to that effect.
  12. Not sure yet if I am going or can go but if I am able to I'll be going solo.
  13. Yep during their CFB go around they probably spent at least half the segment talking about the NT game and the whole homecoming experience. A bunch of their friends from school flew here for the game, tailgated etc. Junior said it is a cool tailgating scene now at the hill, NT hammered UTEP which was really fun to see. They talked about getting on the halftime show with Jub Jub which was a really funny story. After the game they went around campus to check it out and had some drinks somewhere on the square. Then they all went to Jub Jub's house and had some type of party. So a lot of great talk and pub from Junior.
  14. I've got Dish thank you!
  15. I'm far far from a sushi person but it was pretty good. My GF loved it but she's a sushi lover. I ordered a plate for me as backup which was very very stout. From my sushi friends they say Blue Fish is probably one of the better ones in the DFW area.
  16. Umm let's focus on UTSA please?
  17. What was the highest ranking we got during our bowl run? My guess would have been 2002ish but if anyone knows I'm curious to see how high we were ranked during that run.
  18. I've seen El Norte for many many many years but have never eaten there. I need to make a trip there one of these days.
  19. I'm not sure if it's the same one but there used be a Los Cucos in Plano in a very very prime location for a couple years but that thing closed down. At there once and from what I remember it was pretty good albeit more on the "good generic" Tex/Mex.
  20. Never been there or even heard of it. Need to check it out next time I'm up there. One place in Denton I am a fan of although haven't eaten there in quite some time is Mi Casita.
  21. It's certainly a starting point list. I'd say those are considered more on the "safer" side when people are looking for Mexican. That's why it sort of depends what one is looking for. Ah so you're a Plano resident? High five.
  22. Truth be told I didn't love Joe T's food. You might be the first person I've heard that really dislikes the food however. But yes what makes that place is the atmosphere. Other than that place I'm not familiar with the places on the FW side. Back to the original question tho, there's just so many variations of Mexican or Tex/Mex places now they need to be divided based on type of place.
