I think it was evident that both teams are awful and NT stinks even more due to the HC. If NT has a competent QB then the game could have been way in their favor earlier in the game.

From what I saw on TV it seemed pretty even if not slightly a more SMU crowd but the noise definitely came from the UNT crowd.

Every time I see the AM pic in your signature there hasn't ever been one time that I didn't slightly chuckle at the very least.

Good point perhaps it was just RV's fat ego that wouldn't accept he made a terrible hire. All I know is this really sucks and it makes me a little more angry knowing I and many on this board are committed to club seats and this is the crap we're seeing on the FB field and seeing from our AD on all the rest of his bad hires.

I'm not denying that but we saw that we couldn't buy out Dodge until year 4 I guess it was. Yes we have a little more money now maybe but shit our 6th home game this season was prob considered the SMU game and we've yet to bag a decent opponent to Apogee.

Even if we went 0-12 do we even have the money to fire mac and pay whatever he gets in a buyout? I don't know if we can even afford that.

Well if we need to have a 21 or 22 year old kid to be the leader and not the 60 year old head coach that gets paid 800K a year to do his job then something is really wrong.

I don't know why they should be concerned or we should really even tout that. SMU is at least 1/3 or less the size of NT and they're just 30-45 mins apart from each other so it's almost inevitable that almost any school local to this region will be able to have more fans at Ford than their own.

They're paying him pennies compared to Anaheim. That said it was still a good trade because other than about 5-7 million they'll be giving him over the rest of his contract they gave nothing up. Also the expectations should just be that he's a spare part and 'just a guy'. Whether it's physically or mentally it's always 'something' with Josh so just treat him as a spare part that will give you some thing every so often but will also be MIA many times. He's just a weirdly mixed bag.

I think the way to go for all parking for the university should be building nothing but parking garages and building up. Land and space will get saved and hopefully more students will be happier. I realize those will cost more to build but I think it'd be a good option.

LivingSocial. Got 2 tickets yesterday totaling $30 including taxes and fees on the end zone. If you want a sideline seat they also offer them for $25 each.

If we park at DART Mockingbird Station are there plenty of spaces available or would we need to get there a bit early to secure a spot there? Also how good of an option & viable is it to maybe park the car at Northpark or somewhere and taking Uber to the stadium? I think My GF wanted to stay in that area somewhere after the game as well.

You're making it sound like it would be beneath SMU to do that. What's wrong with a little marketing and pub going out to people that may otherwise not pay attention? That said SMU does care about this game as do all the fans and alumni and there is no way in hell this is ranked 11th or 12th...that's just laughable. Some say SMU people don't care about this game but I assure you if NT leaves Ford with a W the fans will be irate and embarrassed. If they didn't care wouldn't they just be apathetic?

If anyone still wants to go but haven't bought tickets yet you can buy them through Living Social. They have 2 offerings, one voucher for a sideline ticket for $25 or one voucher for an end zone ticket for $15 and they don't charge you any extra BS fees like Ticketmaster.

This is not positive publicity at all. But I guess any publicity regardless good or bad at least puts NT in people's conscience I guess.

A good program that wins with a good/decent coach can recruit players. You have to win and get/develop better players to fill the stadium...not the other way around.

It's much better and easier to sell a winning season and a bowl appearance/win than a .500 season, no bowl but hey we beat a crappy a SMU team. It's not even close what the better option to me.

Upgraded last night on my personal laptops. So far it's been great and truly apples/oranges different and better to Windows 8. I'm using Win 7 at work but my company made the shift of upgrading to Win 8 just last year. I hope they upgrade to 10 and til then I'll just use 7 at work which is still great.

If we just win and win consistently including being more than relevant I can assure you that the financial stuff will work itself out. Positive and consistent results on the field/court etc will cure just about anything.

They were bad...really really bad but I'd say June Jones probably had more of the bringing them out of the dead job task than Chad Morris is going to have to go through.

We must hang around with completely different SMU circles then. Those people you mention exist in every school and not just associated with SMU.

Hate to break it to you but if you think that then you probably haven't met enough people from SMU.
