They showed last night they would start a gimpy player or a former druggie who hadn't taken an NFL hit in two years before they would think about Cobbs, no wonder this team has not won a game. The only thing I can think of is that they were relying heavily on Cobbs for Special Teams and did have someone else to learn the position.

Riley's size is fine, he is a winner and a heck of a player. I think he will probably red-shirt so that we can have him still here when Vizza leaves. When Vizza is a junior, Rodge will be a RS Freshman. Recruiting wise it is a good position to be in. Rodge said he is coming here to play QB, but don't be surprised if he plays some WR while Vizza is here...he's too good to not put on the field somewhere.

What's sad is their band was a third of ours and just as loud. Time we figured out that Flutes, Clarinets, etc. need to be replaced by instruments that can be heard... On the positive, the alumni love it when the band comes over into our crowd and plays. I also like that our band knows when not to play (like when we are on offense)

I'll be honest, the old school was better...and by old school I mean the old Hunter "Mean" Green. Once the school switched to the new Kelly "girlie" Green we have sucked. Let me break it down further - Hunter = something that kills things Kelly = a name typically given to girls When it comes to football which would you choose? Even Spock wouldn't argue this logic.

Not sure if you guys were watching the same game? Danny boy threw 3 picks, 3! 2 were in the endzone (one was a poor decision by Danny, the other was an underthrown ball that Jackson didn't fight for) and that killed momentum for us swinging it FaU's way. Was he the only problem in the game? No, but his mistakes were the worst... On a positive note, it was good to see Jamario and our run game get going as well as seeing Gilmore back (his pressure influenced a lot of plays, can't wait until his stamina is back!)

Mayday threw 4 picks against the scout team before Oklahoma, played okay against Oklahoma, lost us the SmU game and lost us the FaU game. He's nicknamed Mayday for a reason; time to move on, start Vizza. I can live with a true freshman making true freshman mistakes, but I can't watch our so-called experienced starter making freshman mistakes anymore.
