That's funny, I feel that people are forgetting what happened as it was happening. Texas dominated the first quarter with McCoy, then he got hurt. Alabama rolled after that, but a freshman qb got them within a TD late in the 4th, then he couldn't convert on 4th down so Alabama scored with less then a minute on a short drive If that's " taking the foot off the gas" then that's bad coaching
