  1. Here's an HSO. Perhaps, just perhaps, Packer fans should be more worried about their defense that couldn't keep the Vikings out of the endzone...that would prevent any "classless" mooning incidents, would it not? Or, maybe they should worry about their QB throwing 4 interceptions. You know why T.O. and Nicolette Sheridan are news worthy? Know why Janet Jackson was news worthy? Know why Moss is newsworthy? Because people are willing to rehash their actions ad nauseum and complain for days, and days, and days, and days, and days about how bad they are. Anyone remember the class clown in grade school? No audience, no clown. Am I saying we should ignore what these people do? No, but how bout letting the NFL police their players and refusing to dignify them with our continued attention?
  2. Put me down for one, possibly two.
  3. 4. "Breaking a 10-game losing streak on NMSU’s home court does not appear to be an easy task. The Aggies are 4-8 on the season, but will be boosted by the return of legendary coach Lou Henson." No they won't. Henson is back in the hospital with pnemonia. NMSU may play up though, in tribute to their coach.
  5. I can safely say that I can't do that.
  6. That's quite a chunk of change for an 18 or 19 year old kid, or his family, to be able to put up for bail. I know it's usually only 1/10 but that's still hefty. <_< And $3,700 cash on him? I know I used to get some hefty financial aid disbursement checks but does the boy not believe in banks...or is he "doing work" that is tax free, what with 20 grams of coke on him?
  7. Over 2,000? That's a nice improvement. Baby steps, baby steps.
  8. We only play Western Kentucky once this year prior to the tournament, and it's at the pit. ULL we get at home first, then on the road against them. At least as the two teams feel eachother out we are on our home floor. We REALLY need our "fans" to come suport this team. And who the hell is Evansville? They're the only team to beat WKU this year.
  9. Ok, here is who remains on the OOC schedule: (home)Southeast Missouri State 3-5 (away)Chattanooga 4-2 w/ win over tennessee (away)Tennessee Martin 3-5 w/ loss to arkie state (away)Birmingham Southern 5-3 w/ losses to #12 miss state 55-48 and UMass 64-60 The first three, on paper, look quite winnable but you can't judge a school's basketball team but what you know about the school because often you judge that off of your knowledge of their football prowess. Birmingham southern looks like they've hung with several very good teams. The UMass squad they lost to by 4 knocked off #13 UConn 61-59 just a few nights ago. I would, honestly, be happy with a split in these four games (7-5 OOC), would be ecstatic at 6-4 and would be blown away and buy a Southwest Airlines gift card for wherever our first NCAA tourney game winds up being if we won all four and were 8-3.
  10. Yes, I do remember, the game. And I still can't be held.
  11. No, when you're being shown up, it's hard TO retaliate against a statement like that. The Pit Crew outnumbered the Talons at the game, what, 10-1?
  12. Paul Wall and Mike Jones...two of the throwdest on the microphone
  13. I'm there.
  14. This isn't football related so feel free to move it as long as the link stays on this board where everyone will at least view it. I took a night off from work Saturday to attend the game and I came up with this idea last night so feel free to critique, expound, or trash altogether...but do so within the next 24 hours because if it's gonna get off the ground it's gotta be Monday. You can buy DVD players for $39 bucks or less these days. TV's are around $40. DVD's are $10 or less. What if we bought about 3 or four DVD players, a tv or two and a bunch of popular movies and advertised drawings throughout the TCU game for these prizes? Again, I'd front the money but I would need a GUARANTEE that someone could help me out because I'd be out at least $400. The biggest problem is advertising on short notice. I talked with the president of Talons and she says that, if they do the campus cleanup table this week, she would hand out several thousand flyers advertising the game and giveaways. Any other ideas for cheap, quick, mass media promotions? Pit Crew? Are you doing any advertising for your tailgate party...and could you spread the word about this as well? So, good idea or bad idea? Who could help out? This is our "statement" game and I'd love to see a large rowdy student crowd.
  15. Yes, let's tear down the goalposts!!!!!!! Wait, I've had a change of heart. I now would like to vote AGAINST having a regional tv crowd say "wow, that's about the most high schoolish thing I could have imagined. Isn't this their fourth conference title in a row...and they beat who, Idaho?" Yeah, tearing down goalposts is a negative ghost rider. <_<
  16. It is always awesome to see that our former players are still involved in the game...and also just to see where they are now. Jalie, you and the rest of your generation put the Lady Eagles on the map and were a joy to watch.
  17. 1)Soccer if I'm playing 2)Football if I'm playing 3)Football if I'm watching 4)Soccer if I'm watching 5)Basketball 6)Baseball if I'm there live or it's the Yanks 7)Tennis 8)Hockey if there is absolutely nothing of interest on
  18. Damnit! Damnit! Damnit!
  19. What exactly about his employment status needs to be evaluated? He claims to be God, slaps students, threatens to kill them, and writes "911 now" on the chalkboard...are they holding out hope that he was just kidding or is it necessary for your head to spin while the bed levitates before they'll fire you?
  20. Our next what?
  21. Could mary jane make our Barnett rebound, block shots or score?
  22. So, good ken, are you saying yes or no?
  23. I have a friend who's got a single ticket to the TX/OU game Saturday...is it worth $200 to go? Is the "experience" worth that much?
  24. A 4-0 OOC start. But we don't really count those games anyway, right? <_<
  25. I believe your memory is correct.
