Win or lose, this team has shown me more than they have all season. Coming out of the locker room this team could have laid down…and most here expected them to…but they let ‘em hang down and punched back

If I had told any of you before the game “the defense will force two first half turnovers and have a 4th down stop” how many would have taken that and felt pretty good? I know I would. Of course, if I followed that up with “and the offense will crap the bed” you might begin to feel worse 😂

It is clear what Tulane’s game plan is. Keep everything in front of you and tackle in space. They’re winning the LOS and getting pressure without sending extra bodies, so they can prevent big plays.

I think we have a defense that has forced a goal line turnover and made a stop on 4th and 3. I think we’re playing the nation’s #23 team. I also think some came into this game more ready to root against something than for something. And I think we got rid of Littrell because he stalled out…and it will take more than one offseason to start winning in a tougher conference

The opposing defense gets a stop? They’re playing very well. Our defense gets a stop? The opposing team obviously gave it to us or made a poor decision. 🤔🙄🙄🙄

Never lose the will to fight against the 3-man front with this current roster. If we happen to sign 3 6’4” 320lb guys with mobility…then let it rest

My take is that some of our fans are so programmed to bitch, piss, and moan that they can’t enjoy ANY win. Lose to a superior opponent? “Why do we play these games?! We’re so unmatched and the coaches didn’t have us prepared!” Lose to an evenly matched opponent? “Fire the coaches! Our recruiting is horrible and last year we signed a bunch of kids nobody else wanted…oh, they had some P5 offers? Well, those offers must have been expired because the P5 coaches know what I know…the kids are terrible” Win against evenly matched teams? “They had injuries! They played horribly! We didn’t win as much as they lost….and I will conveniently forget that I predicted that same horrible team to run us off the field”

Here's the better question...why would they? If FSU, Clemson, UNC and anyone else leave, why would you forego revenue in a conference that will likely lose "P5" (or is it P4, or P3 at this point) status real real soon thereafter?

Navy is doing this incredible thing when they get to the ball carrier…something I haven’t seen at DATCU in a long time. They’re wrapping up and knocking the offensive player down.
