  1. I believe he's a walk-on. He beat out another true freshman for QB2, but that may have more to do with a desire to keep the redshirt on him.
  2. Strongly disagree. The big selling point on building the new stadium was so we could get bigger name teams in to play on campus. We have very much disappointed in doing this, but getting Tech in might be the name that will garner the most interest of any game held at the new stadium. If we aren't ready in 3 years to perform better at home against Tech than we did today in Lubbock, we have a whole other set of problems.
  3. Word was that we very much went after Fuente, but he wasn't interested.
  4. ? When you pull your starter, you usually put in your #2 QB. That's what we did.
  5. I just want a good head coach. A good head coach doesn't emphasize one side of the ball over the other. McCarney post-2013 was a terrible head coach, regardless of emphasis.
  6. Like it or not, unless some of y'all can raise about $5 million or more, Morris will be our coach next year. Just have to hope he and the rest of this staff can get things figured out fast.
  7. I think Morris turned them down once we started showing interest.
  8. Not surprised. BO'B is an incredible college coach.
  9. A well-placed screen pass hit the receiver right on the hands, and went through to a defender 5 yards past him.
  10. Should it have? Look at how Tech did against ACU, a comparable opponent to SFA. This utter breakdown is unnecessary and inexcusable.
  11. If you're talking about Chandler Morris, only one of those picks is on him. The other two are completely the fault of the receivers.
  12. I doubt we have the financial resources. I'm pretty sure we're still paying Littrell this year.
  13. It wouldn't be the first time. Seth Littrell was fired for going 7-5. The precedent has already been set.
  14. Do you really think our problems lie only on one side of the ball? Tech's last 14 points are completely on our offense, a pick 6 and another close enough to being one. Our offense has only had one sustained drive, keeping our defense on the field way more than one would hope. We missed a chip shot field goal. We have issues all over the place.
  15. OH YEAH!!!!!! TIME TO GET MEAN!!!!
  16. Not sure why it would be a bigger opportunity than any of the other times we've played Tech.
  17. I'll take wins for Memphis, FAU, USF, and good ol' UNT.
  18. Florida State fans feel similarly . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rlQWX-YCQUE
  19. I agree . . . but the problem is, if other AAC teams join up with them, what will we have left? Regardless, we're far from a slam dunk to get invited.
  20. Not a bad idea, but I would rather retain the services of Boomer the cannon.
  21. The question was in the scenario of the ACC imploding. A fairly likely scenario, if not imminent.
