Just curious, what kind of statement are you looking for? Any kind of statement I can think of under the circumstances other than "we're all committed to the AAC" sounds to me like a desperate cry for attention.

Gotta agree with this. TBH, this Florida State team is so bad, Tulsa might beat them. But Florida State is clearly a nationally recognized brand. When we curbstomped Arkansas a few years ago, we got a ton of media attention even though that Arkansas team was terrible.

As of now, I'd give a pretty clear edge to the 2018 team. They started the season 6-1, and their losses were close. Until the bowl game, that is. If this team wins a bowl game, then yes, they will be better than any team Seth ever had.

Just saying. We've given him a lot of grief for last season, a lot of it deserved, but he deserves some praise for a good game as well. Not counting garbage time, he essentially held Tulsa to 3 points.

DT had a heroic performance in a bowl win; so in that respect, he beats out the other 2. But generally as a QB, and statwise, he doesn't compare to the other 2.

You're still missing the point about media markets. Chicago is the #3 media market in the country. That matters to ESPN, Fox, and friends, which is why it matters to conferences. But your point about attendance is a good one.

I don't think you understand the point about media markets. Dallas cares even less about UNT, but we are seen as more valuable than other programs because we "bring" the DFW market.

If Northern Illinois is interested in making a move, the AAC needs to be the first to have a talk with them. They fit a whole lot better in our footprint than in the MWC, and they would bring a lot to the table. They are currently ranked above any AAC programs, and they bring the Chicago media market.
