  1. It was a sellout. Yes, by the time it was a blowout fans started heading for the doors. But WVU is not on the same level as PSU. Not to mention they had something like an hour and a half weather delay in the second half after the game was pretty well decided.
  2. That's not Stone Earle.
  3. We had a very good QB last year, and only 17k came to the games.
  4. That's the key phrase. And history says Chandler won't be healthy the entire season. Based on comments made by Coach Morris, there's going to be a lot of uncertainty once we have to reach for a backup. Wish we still had Stone to provide more of a known quantity at backup.
  5. I see that as a high, and perhaps unrealistic, bar. We'll need good play from the QB position, but we really need the defense to step up from "awful" to at least "bad."
  6. It's a good place for seafood. I forget the names of the places, but if you drive east from the U.S.S. Alabama there are a couple of places on either side of the road. I forget the names, but you can't miss them. They are very popular, but good.
  7. Sounds like you're predicting a pretty strong defensive performance in this game.
  8. Are there injuries we haven't heard about yet? I can't imagine Gabe Blair not cracking the two-deep otherwise.
  9. Yeah, I don't think you need to come over here strutting like a rooster about this one. Win or lose, this has been an embarrassing performance for what is supposed to be a "P4" team.
  10. Taking snaps in the shotgun when you're at your own 1 is so moronic.
  11. Dude, you just jinxed it. Now a safety. SMU only down by 1 and gets the ball.
  12. Umm...they're only down by 3 now.
  13. In fairness, the past few years we have provided you a bodybag FCS type tune up.
  14. Evidently, because the coaches thought other LB's were better, or would fit their system better. Maybe they were wrong. But every coaching staff has some misses in every recruiting class.
  15. I agree with everything you said, but you know we aren't firing Morris with 3 years left on his contract. Aren't we still paying Littrell this year?
  16. When he finally decides to hang it up, he will have been one of the more well-traveled coaches in college football history.
  17. 7 wins would be satisfactory. 8 wins would be good. 9+ wins would have me elated about our potential with Coach Morris. Don't talk to me about anything else.
  18. Well, I stand corrected. Thanks, Billy.
  19. Like I said, I can't keep track of the rules anymore. But I'm pretty sure the clock starts ticking once you start practicing with a team, and I thought they changed the rules so the NCAA wouldn't have to go on a case-by-case basis anymore. His true freshman year was 2019, in which he took a redshirt. This would make his 6th season of eligibility. Based on El Paso's post above, maybe he could get a 7th. We've certainly never had a player before who played his 7th season of eligibility with us.
  20. That stinks. Injury or not, this may be the last year of his eligibility. I can't keep up with the rules anymore, so I could be wrong, but I'd be surprised if he gets to play for us next year. I was really looking forward to watching him on the field for us.
  21. I don't necessarily see it working out the way you say it will--especially since it would involve Chandler Rogers transferring back from Cal--but I do think 8-4 is realistic. Anything less than 7-5 should put Coach Morris on the hot seat for next year.
