Not to stir the pot, but the offense can keep the opposing team from scoring by keeping the other offense off the field. In the spread offense, time of possession is always a problem, but an effective offense wouldn't turn it over as quickly. Also they could score a few more times and keep it a close game. I don't necessarily agree with throwing Riley in there, but I'm just saying that a good offense can help.

I respectfully disagree. I feel that the muffed catch on the kick return by Dunbar absolutely took us out of the game. Up until that point there was a chance of us coming back.

I agree, the stats are definitely surprising considering the beating we took. The turnovers killed us. Vizza's line looks okay and he had some nice runs, but with Riley's redshirt off, I don't know how much more time Vizza has left as UNT's starting QB.

This was my initial thought when I first saw him on the field. I can't agree with the timing (I would have liked to see him redshirt all year), but since the redshirt is off - go for it.

After the Stadium video finished playing I noticed Rick V staring daggers at the drumline and shaking his head. He looked pissed the rest of the night. I think they should have announced that the video was playing right before it went on, because it just randomly appeared out of nowhere. A simple "Ladies and gentlemen, please turn your attention to the video board for a special presentation..." would have done the job. As for the video itself, it looked good! I got some chills when the "camera" rushed through the stadium tunnel and unveiled the field. I'm not sure what Mean Joe had to say but I'm sure it was great (I couldn't hear anything). When people see this video in the future it should go a long way towards making the new stadium seem more attainable.

Yeah, it seems like every other day I get a comment about that ref...I'm always impressed with his footwork. He goes from running backwards to forwards and doesn't miss a beat.

KDFI is Channel 27. Channel 27 just refers to the off-air channel. If you had an antenna, you could pick up the game by turning your TV to channel 27. Cable networks like to switch up the channel numbers. So you were watching on KDFI 27, just not channel 27. KDFI 27

Just a reminder that NTTV is rebroadcasting the OSU - UNT basketball game on Sunday at 6:30pm. Because of a series of technical issues with our broadcast, we are rebroadcasting The Cowboy Sports Network's coverage of the game. The presentation is all OSU, but the announcers were actually quite unbiased (as another poster wrote earlier). See you all at the game on Saturday!

At the Student Media Meet-and-Greet today, Rick V. talked about that article and also pointed out that NT grad Patrick Cobbs was in a two-page picture on the inside cover. Haven't seen it personally but I'm sure it's there.

Just pure speculation (that's what we're good at), but couldn't that be the old white jersey...they probably had the "model" wear the old jersey so they wouldn't give away the new jersey in the pants picture. My bet is that there will be some piping along the side of the jersey meeting the piping on the pants. Interesting look so far...wasn't expecting black to be as heavily emphasized, but...<insert Dickey Black Jersey Joke Here>! Haha!
