I received a call today from the ticket office encouraging me to buy tickets. As an out-of-stater I can't justify buying season tickets, but I'll definitely try to get to a few games. I already bought Wyoming tickets. GMG

IMO shoring up our defense has to be the #1 priority as we move into the new year. I'm optimistic our staff will be able to bring in at least a couple of transfer QBs to compete for the starting spot (especially with what the O did this season), but that defense needs a major overhaul. I'm particularly worried about finding the right DL personnel for that 3-man front. GMG

Hate to see these great offensive outputs spoiled by brutal, gut-punch losses. It's just so incredibly frustrating to watch. If you didn't know the final score, but saw this final stat line, you'd probably figure we won. Instead, it's another heartbreaking loss. Man! In our 5 losses this year we've averaged 30.8 points and 452.6 yards. Feels like we could easily have 2-3 more wins on the board save for a few backbreaking plays. On to the next. GMG.

The results of the first 2 games have been unacceptable. Just terrible! But whatever our opinion of the coaches, scheme and execution, I think we can all agree that we're rooting for the program to get it together ASAP. I'm rocking some Green on this Mean Green Friday. GMG - Beat LA Tech.

Completely agree. Yea, the scheme didn't give Cal any problems - but for me, the larger issue were missed tackles. Bottom line is if you can't tackle, you won't stop anyone regardless of the scheme. If memory serves, there were a few plays where it looked like guys sold out for a big hit, but didn't wrap up. Other times our guys were in position for a TFL or to at least hold them to a short gain and the initial tackler couldn't make the stop. Hoping things get better. GMG

Not to sound to pessimistic, but if Abou wasn't available 2 days ago, and we didn't see him in practice photos posted by the team yesterday, my guess is he's out today. Have no idea what his family issue is but wish everyone involved the best. Seems like a great kid and the kind of team player every coach would love to have. GMG!

Yea I'm wondering that too. If they were stolen (which is terrible) how difficult is it to buy new jerseys? Seems a little crazy that we wouldn't have the financial resources to replace them. Maybe it's on Nike and their ability to get product produced quickly?
