Torrey is a champion! I have enjoyed watching him play over the years! He is a real go to guy when the tough yards are needed! He is a true football player! I hope he can get a chance at the next level!

Cary was a great guy! I was blessed to know him! Count me in for the hockey event!

I wish I could join with everyone for the game watching event but I am up here in Pierre SD hunting pheasants! I am having a very good time needless to say. Got some birds today! The weather is nice! No freezing weather! Bright sunshine with temps in the low 60’s! Beautiful country up here! But I mis my Mean Green !

We’re the refs paid off to favor Liberty? Kidding aside, the officiating in this game was terrible! There were many blown calls! I have only very badly criticized game officiating a couple times: the non touchdown catch by Texas and now this Liberty game! IMHO, the refs cost us this game! If we got the safety and the 2 points to tie the game, the momentum was back to the team, and Liberty would kick back to us. The missed grounding call was another big game changer too. Sorry ass refs! Never use these officials again!

Do you think the North Texas vs SMiss game will be the pillow fight of the week? What if NT loses to S Miss, then FIU continues to lose too. When NT plays FIU, that game could decide the national National Bottom Ten Championship! How embarrassing would that be?

Rice beat UAB 30-24 yesterday. Rice is playing well. I am happy Rice beat UAB. I think our best chance for our freshmen team to win is at S. Miss and FIU. I think both of these games will be toss up games with scores like 37-31.

Speaking about the game programs, IMHO the programs are terrible. No information about starting line ups, opposing team info, and CUSA scheduling. Yes this team is very young. Liberty did pick on our true freshmen CB’s late in the game. The true freshmen and red shirt freshmen played well and gained game experience against a good team and players.

No thanks to the trophy idea!

Luke, Billy I have read this new recruit will be making his commitment to North Texas on Saturday. What time will he make his announcement on Saturday? Will the North Texas fans become excited by this player or will the fans just be oh well what is is new reaction about this player? What is y’all’s opinion?

I would like to see more use of the TE position. Looks like freshman Jake Roberts has the starting role at TE. Will the game plan for the TE be expanded for the UAB game? If so, how will Roberts be used?

What does your feeling tell you? Please drop a hint?

I am tied down at home due to family needs but if I can break free of things at home I can drive over to Ford Stadium. How much are the walk up ticket prices for section 120-125?

If any football recruits were at the game I did not see them. I did see a group of about 5-7 big tall guys that looked like BB players or recruits.

Is there any news about football recruits attending the game this evening? I will be on the lookout for any recruits that I see. I will report back on the recruits that see tonight. GMG!!!

UNT Jim I am glad the NT fan base includes you to be the judge on all things UNT. I have been a strong NT athletics backer since 1967. I have seen more NT football games than you can dream about. Just like you I have my opinions but I do not need a idiot like you saying stupid judgmental postings against me!

Thanks meanrob. I believe coach Littrell is planning some things for the $mu coaches to see which will force $mu to make adjustment changes in their game plan against us. No I do not want to change QB’s all season long either. Again I was just scattershooting an idea. Nothing written in stone. The coaches will make their own game plans.

As far as naming a starter for the NW St game, I think Aune will start this game just because of his game experience. Rudder will also play a lot too but later in the game. This game is just a “pre-season warm up” for what is to come. Many players will get to play. Many different formations too. Gives the $mu coaches a lot to prepare for. I think Littrell is looking ahead to the $mu game. The real starter will be chosen for this game, based on how the QB play develops vs NW St.
