  4. Yep. If you're not taking a class on the Denton campus, you are not subjected to the Athletic fee. So I wonder if these students will be allowed into the game for free...
  5. For some reason it says student guest tickets are unavailable for the Houston game. I'd just call the ticket office and ask. Source: http://www.meangreensports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=1800&ATCLID=204832411
  6. What about all those online only students that don't pay the athletic fee...do they still get in free?
  7. Alamo here. Strictly for the atmosphere as I'm not a big fan of TT or Michigan State.
  8. It sounds like the same guy I saw at the Alabama game. Looks to be in his mid-upper twenties, fairly skinny, yells a lot throughout the game and is usually dressed from head to toe in Mean Green gear. At Alabama, he pretty much yelled the whole time and would occasionally run down to the sideline with some kind of field pass and get in and start trying to pep talk to the players and some of the coaches. I was confused. I thought it was funny how he hit on some Southern cuties at the Bama game and was immediately blown off. However, at least he made an effort and I must give credit where credit is due.
  9. +1 I can't wait to get out there tomorrow; it should be a very exciting game.
  10. It seems like someone can't take a joke and some nagging. I hope you aren't making the trip to Denton since you can expect a lot of this on gameday.
  11. Yeah, the vibe on campus isn't as high as it was for the Ohio game, but I suspect that the nice weather and family weekend will help bring out the crowd a bit. Only the hardcore UNT fans know that this is an important conference match-up. I'd say somewhere around 19-20k.
  12. Can you pay for more than one space in the orange lot? 1 vehicle but say 3 spaces? Thanks for the info!
  13. NT 28 MTSU 24
  14. I really hope this game turns out to be as good as everyone is talking it up to be. I'd hate to have a major letdown although I wouldn't mind a UNT blowout.
  15. Yes. The Alabama fans that were seated around us were very friendly and had nothing but good things to say about our program. Also, the people we met around campus and on the Strip were awesome and good fun. Thanks for the hospitality!
  16. I agree, but I think we may be able to sneak a win from Troy, ULL, or ASU. Maybe. I voted 5-3.
  17. I can hardly wait until Saturday. Should be a very good game.
  18. This was awesome! Thanks for putting this up.
  19. We got hammered on our way in last night. We should be at the game in an hour or so. Go Mean Green!
  20. And let's hope that it ends in victory!
  21. I'm sure the choices will be obvious once we're there but where are the best places to park? Also, will we experience any hostility at the strip of bars since we'll obviously be showing our school colors? Thanks for the information!
  22. Hi all, A few other students and I will be making the trek to Tuscaloosa this weekend and were wondering if there are any important things we should know before going. I know the inquiry is general, but what we're looking for is a broad spectrum of advice and information. I appreciate the help. Go Mean Green!
  23. I just contacted the ticket office and there are still a few student tickets left for the game. The lady I spoke with didn't give a count on how many were already sold, but I imagine it was quite a bit.
