I'd rather be playing Rice, Tulsa, UTEP, Louisiana Tech, Tulane, Southern Miss, etc. than ULM, Troy, and Middle Tennessee. In the first place, most people are going to give more credit to the former than the later. Second, they are better institutions, reputation wise, in almost every respect. You are judged by the company you keep.

I can't make it, but have three people using my tickets, so my space will be filled.

Well, you know that we've made progress when we are criticizing a fair performance against a ranked team rather than trying to explain away a blow-out. Do we need to improve? Yes. Will we? I'm certain as long as we have our current coach, we will.

Why not. It will be a home game for the Aggies.

I have seven going to the game. A couple of them are UH grads, but they will be sitting in the Mean Green section, so that should control their enthusiasm.

To be fair, I'd give that honor to the TSU QB's, but DT wasn't far ahead of them.

He had an "off" game last night. It happens to pro QB's too. Now if he continues to have these type of games, then I'll really begin to worry. I figure that he, the receivers and the staff will be working on that this week.

I was a little disappointed in last night's performance, I've seen them really star in the annual Mardi Gras parade. They are always one of the highlights.

If so, it would make for one of the more entertaining half-times ever. Want to see the competition between the Green Brigade and the OOS.

I thought blocking was pretty good for getting the kicks off, but our angles on kick and punt returns needs work. As you say, Harry, that is something that can and will be worked on.

I have to agree with you. Can you imagine a UT or OU basketball stat/alum saying they are going to root for LSU over their alma mater? Of course not. They'd probably never be able to set foot in Norman again. We deserve the same level of respect!

Josh has no excuse as far as I am concerned. I grew up in Austin, went to many, many games in Memorial Stadium growing up and even have degrees from UT Austin, but my B.A.is from North Texas. That is who I cheer for and I would NEVER cheer for the Longhorns over the Mean Green. In fact, I have always wanted our team to win and was really p.o.'d when the refs stole the game from us in 1988.

Thanks for sharing, Harry. Sign of the times. We're busy killing our education infrastructure while China and other countries are rapidly enhancing theirs. If it weren't for "imported" scholars, we'd already be in worse shape than we are. We certainly not growing our own at the ;local, state or federal levels.

Heck, I am hoping they do bring the "Ocean". It will be a blast! I'm sure our band will rise to the occasion. In fact, they half time show alone would be worth the price of admission.
