So then we beat the Vols in the Liberty bowl, putting the series at 2-0 and they cancel their game with us in 2015 (and for the next three decades), opening up a spot for another home game. Everything always works out in the end.

Oh yeah, that huge giant that everyone can't wait to watch on TV. We're coming off 8 of the sorriest years in program history and were projected to finish 5th in the west, and were still lined up at the beginning of the season with a Thursday Night Football game on FS1, a game on ESPN3, on channel 21, on Fox Sports Southwest, Fox College Sports, CBS Sports, another Fox College Sports, and another one set for Fox Sports. So you heard it here first; in the best year of UTSAKFC football, they will get the same TV coverage that we get after almost a decade of losing.

I was embarrassed that the UNT Department of Communications faculty chose to tailgate and then pack it up and go to someone's house for a party without setting foot inside Apogee. I have no problem putting them on blast for that.

Forgot to mention that future member Western Kentucky also got to six today by beating Army. Not sure how their bowl eligibility works since they played an FCS team this year and last year. I think they're eligible.

CUSA hit 6 today. I've never seen anyone wearing UTSA gear or willing to admit to being an alum. I'm choosing to believe that school doesn't actually exist, and is simply a KFC marketing campaign.

If UTEP travelled in the numbers I saw in some of the SMU pics from a couple years ago, Apogee would have been sold out. Difficult to expect much in the way of travelling fans for a 1-7 team, tho.

I think 8-3 and especially 9-3 would get a vote or two. 10-3 would get a few votes, assuming that's after the conference championship. Agree that 11-3 is top 25.

It's about: the team winning, what meangreener is doing, Beyond the Green, McCarney interviews, Zach Orr and Derek Thompson interviews, homecoming being on WFAA in the morning, highlights on Fox Sports Live/Sportscenter/NBC/CBS, Jub talking the team up, being on Fox Sports, Twitter, Facebook, everyone going around at the beginning of the season with posters, this website, football camps, YouTube videos, etc etc etc. Hell, even people wearing green around DFW is a huge promotion. This thing is catching fire because a lot of things are happening at the same time. A bunch of people tailgating at basketball games, turned into a few crazy people at the Super Pit, turned into the Pit Crew, turned into more people coming to games because they loved watching the PC in addition to the team. Any student, any alum, any fan showing support and going the extra mile will always be appreciated by me.
