CUSA really needs to create its own network and market it to the OTT services (Sling, YouTube TV, Hulu, etc) for anything that isn't carried on ESPN networks or CBS.

What’s terrible about this game is that we have to listen to this for a week. Then, after they get beat down in Denton, they’ll say it was bad luck. As they rack up wins in their brutal schedule after our game (UAB, UTSA, and UTEP) they’ll only get louder about how they’d beat us in a rematch. If they’re not the most delusional fans in college football, they’re close.

Kinda gross how these ratings work. We haven’t done enough to be in the top 25 yet, but imo neither has Texas in beating an overrated TCU and a highly overrated USC. Especially coming in at number 18 is ridiculous.

We’ll get a handful more votes, but that’s it for now. Could’ve beaten Liberty 120-3 and it wouldn’t have changed anything. If we beat La Tech, we’ll get #24 or 25.

You guys are too beat down by decades of ... beatdowns. This team is not a team we're going to drive down to Dallas to watch play a 2nd rate Colorado or 3rd rate USC team in 'the other Cotton Bowl game'. This team could end up in the Fiesta Bowl or the Peach Bowl.

Sling TV or fuboTV. Both have bein (add the sports pack with Sling). fubo has a 7 day free trial. Sling does as well, but I don't know if you can add the sports pack to that.

Not really. I mean, yeah, it would apply to Denton. What he's saying is that UNT is garnering the current "oh, I knew that band five years before anyone else did" type of fan. Not really a comment on the fanbase in general.

I got to campus at about 5:30. Traffic getting into the Fouts lot was backed up beyond West. Due to that, and forgetting my monocle, I decided to park next to the rec center and walk. Probably the easiest experience I've had.

Checked on Sling today and it's now showing 4:00 PM 9/6 on FSSW (wasn't showing up last week).

So when you buy online, it says the delivery option is "Mobile" and then proceeds to give no further information. Am I just waiting on another email with the tickets, loading an app, or what? Edit: nevermind. There was a half hour delay between the receipt and the tickets arriving.

For anyone who has an antenna in DFW who can't make the game, it'll be on channel 47.1.

If Seth has another successful year, he's going to be gone somewhere (if he wants to). I have a feeling that 'somewhere' is going to be a lot better of an opportunity than Texas Tech.

SMU is coming off a beating by a La Tech team that we beat at their own place. They lost their star receiver to the NFL (you know, the one who put up 28 of 54 points on us). They're breaking in a new head coach. They're playing in Denton. Yeah, it's entirely possible that they win, but it's not probable at this point. It's going to take them at least 3-4 games to even adjust to the new coaching staff. Don't get me wrong, it's not a guaranteed win and Vegas still has it as a tossup. It just doesn't look good for SMU as a first game. I'd honestly be surprised if they won any of their first four games. Rough schedule.

At this rate, the next deal will be with QVC.

Went this year with my girlfriend and my mom. Parked in their parking garage, and walked a mile or whatever to the stadium. Get to the gate and we're told that normal sized purses are not allowed, so I trek all the way back to the car to leave two purses in the trunk and then back to the game. I hear the first half was better than the second.

I doubt he would be asked to speak if his dad wasn't President. It's becoming evident that Ernie's new direction is to pull in political lightning rods and slap the UNT name on it. Either that or go through the staff pages at Fox News/Business and call them in one by one.
