The fact our coaching staff hasn’t been able to sign someone better than Aune the last 2 years is embarrassing. Total failure at identifying talent and developing it. My main takeaway from last night is our defense has regressed back to 2020. Our secondary can’t cover anyone. Our offense looked solid outside of Aune’s usual inconsistencies.

But it's still our logo. And Oregon wasn't the first team to put wings on a helmet. And I've said it a thousand times, the best logo for a helmet would be the "NT" we use for the Letterwinner's Association. The throwback helmets worn the past couple years show it would fit perfectly on a helmet. And it has a way cleaner and more collegiate look than the "UNT" script we've been using more and more as a secondary logo.

A lot of programs put out weekly uniform reveal videos/pics. Not sure why its so triggering? This is actually a really well made video. UNT's social media presence isn't very good so we need way more of this.

But that doesn't mean anything without knowing details on the sponsorship. Are they paying UTSA millions of dollars? I doubt it. I'm guessing every FBS school has corporate sponsors. UNT has them with Marriot, Coca-Cola, Whataburger, Raising Canes, etc.

I get #5 being an issue last year, but there's no excuse for how poorly it was stocked on Saturday. Hardly any kelly green apparel, low end Nike polos and hoodies, and tiny hat selection. I'm guessing Voertman's was awarded the contract late in the game and simply wasn't prepared to deliver. At this point, don't expect much improvement. Maybe they'll get their shit together next year...

Based on what he's said in interviews the past couple years, I think the transfer portal and NIL have killed a lot of his passion for being a head coach. It's not what he signed up for when he was younger and moving up the ranks to become a HC.
