  1. After getting blown out by SMU and UNLV, I don’t even think 7-5 is going to cut it.
  2. It’s literally what it means based on how the question is asked 😂 If you don’t think winning a conference championship is required for a successful season then it shouldn’t be your answer.
  3. But that’s what the option you selected means…A season without a conference championship is a failure.
  4. Which is why I voted above .500 yearly. Saying a program has to win a conference championship in order for the season to be successful is insane.
  5. The only game Aune cost us was Memphis. Mason Fine could have been playing QB vs SMU and UNLV and we still would have lost by 14+. Our defense was shredded.
  6. @Harry when it comes to an improved ESPN+ product, did your contact say anything about the camera angles? Right now, the only play-by-play cameras seem to be stationed at the 25 yard lines which can lead to some awful angles. How is there not a camera at the 50? And we need to figure out a way to capture the ref’s mic on the broadcasts. You can’t hear them at all.
  7. This hypothetical has us beating 3 of the best teams in CUSA. Not sure how you can compare the two?
  8. I agree with you on the first 20 years of your experience, but I think its easy to see things have changed a lot since about 2012.
  9. 1. I doubt he'd get three years. But we all know how you like to exaggerate to make a point. 2. Saying we'd only win 3 games in the AAC after this hypothetical 5-0 finish, THAT INCLUDES 3 TEAMS GOING TO THE AAC, is a real head scratcher.
  10. Imagine putting out this statement while Littrell gets the team ready to play for a conference championship lol
  11. Winning the last 5 games would mean victories over UTSA, UAB, WKU, and a spot in the CUSA championship. Littrell would be back.
  12. Not sure how you come to this conclusion after what’s been built facility wise the past decade and having a president who has said multiple times athletics is the front porch of a university and had a role in getting us to the AAC. Just because a coach has probably been kept a year too long doesn’t mean the school neglects athletics.
  13. Considering how much we criticize our home OOC football games, I think basketball gets away with a lot worse.
  14. Never said he couldn’t win that many games. Just saying making it a requirement for a coach to keep their job is beyond unfair. Especially, for a program like ours. A program that hasn’t even been ranked since 1959.
  15. Just say he can’t do anything in your eyes to be brought back because saying a coach has to win 11 games is laughable.
  16. What are you saying? If we don't win 10 games then we're mediocre garbage? There's a MASSIVE difference between .500 and 10 wins. When did we suddenly become a program that's too good to accept 8-9 win seasons?
  17. It's insane to tell a coach he has to do something that's never been done in program history in order to keep his job. If you think that's fair then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
  18. Ehhh...it's fine. The Texas state outline is low hanging fruit for programs. I think we're the 3rd or 4th to do it? Never been a fan of putting numbers on the side of the helmet and like others have said, I think a white helmet with green graphic would look better.
  19. We’ve never won 10 games in program history. That’s an absurd bar to make Littrell meet.
  20. 8-5 is the worst he can do. Anything less and he needs to go.
  21. Why do bowl wins mean so much to you? Nowadays, they’re no more important than a regular season game.
  22. Maybe. But we can pay him over a million dollars more per year, have better facilities, and about to move up the conference ladder. He's probably content waiting until a desirable P5 job opens up, but I still make the call.
  23. The offense handed Memphis 21 points. I wouldn’t call yesterday a step forward…
  24. Lol absolutely no
  25. There were crowd shots every quarter. The north endzone was never close to being full.
