This fanbase is such a joke. After the mass player exodus, basically everyone on this site predicted 5-7 wins and despite being on track to finish on that mark, many fans are screaming to fire everyone. And to seriously be rooting for this team to lose against Temple and miss a bowl is 100% loser garbage. GTFO with that crap. We’re all disappointed with the lack of progress this year but to want to pull the plug and go through another mass exodus with another new coaching staff with zero time to recruit is all but guaranteeing another frustrating season. You have to give Morris another year to get a new defensive staff in place to fix the defense. The schedule is favorable next year and our best chance at success is with Morris. If he can’t win in year 3 with a favorable schedule, then sure, call for his firing. But to do it now would be dumb AF.

I actually expect our defense to put up a better fight than they did against Memphis and Tulane. Army is much more one dimensional, and have less speed and size. Not saying we shut them down, but I think we can hold them to around 30. Prediction: North Texas- 34 Army- 31

Unless we're the highest ranked G5 in the playoffs, our bowl options are limited. Playing in a local bowl against an in-state opponent is about as good we can realistically hope for. Our bowl destination and opponent are out of our control. Outside of winning all our games, there's nothing we can do to "aim higher".

Outside of the NY6 and a few others, all bowls are viewed equally by the average CFB fan. Playing TXST in Frisco would be awesome. It would be a great crowd and an opponent we actually care to beat.

We're never going to get the parade back if we keep scheduling homecoming the same Saturday as Denton's Day of the Dead festival. A good portion on the Square is closed off for events and vendors. I think this year is the third straight year its happened.
