What makes you think Riley can cover someone or even tackle? He probably hasen't done either of those since 6th grade. I highly doubt he's anywhere close to the DBs we already have.

It was less than a yard, I would have done the same thing. What lost them the game was only getting 14 points on 5 trips inside the red zone!

My first college game was the A&M-UT bonfire game in '99. Kinda hard to top that one...

In all seriousness, I'm guessing a stretch run off the right tackle with Dunbar.

Why? By having our nickname as the Mean Green it makes us very unique and recognizable. If we were just the Eagles we would just get lumped in with about 100 other schools and teams that use the Eagles as their mascot.

No way this would happen now. It would seem kinda weird having the stadium named after someone who is still employed by the athletic department. However, I would love this idea later on after Rick is no longer at UNT, which hopefully won't be anytime soon!

Looks like he already has one foot out the door. This story really makes me appreciate the coach we have in Johnny Jones. Coach Jones always seems like he's in it for the players and understands that it's about making them better basketball players and more importantly better people. On the other hand, Isiah Thomas is in it for himself and is just trying to make it back to the NBA anyway he can.

That would be sick! Don't see why UA would outfit LaTech and not UNT. Our uniforms just scream low quality and that was obvious when we played K-State. Most local high schools have better uniforms than us... and some decent warmups would be nice too

Our basketball jerseys are ugly. They're too bulky looking and the names on the back look like duct tape. After 4 straight 20 win seasons our guys deserve better uniforms

Some insight on who we might open the stadium against. His realistic expectations for the football team this season. His thoughts on interim president Rawlings and what he's been able/ will do for UNT athletics. Timetable for baseball's return to UNT once the stadium is complete.

I'd be happy with any of them, but my top two are Colorado State and Tulane

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I do not like Hooyah too much. I've been there a couple of times and the food was average at best. It's going to be a great day when Freebirds opens in the fall. It will immediately become the burrito king of Denton.
