The AL West title means something though because every division winner is given a spot in the playoffs. What did UNT get for winning the west division in the Sun Belt? Nothing. There shouldn't even be divisions in college basketball since almost every team makes the conference tourney. I don't really care either way, just a personal preference

West division champion? eh...kinda pointless since we were Sun Belt tournament champions. Personally, I think teams should only raise banners for championships or in the case of NCAA basketball Sweet 16s, Elite 8s, and Final Fours.

Thank you for bringing some sense into this stupid argument! Who cares if the game wasn't on KNTU, it was still being broadcasted on KWRD. KNTU is the exclusive broadcast station for Denton ISD football so with two Denton high school teams in playoff action Saturday of course KNTU is going to cover one of them since KWRD has the UNT game.

He's only in his 3rd year with an overall record of 14-21 with a 5-5 record this year. So far SMU hasen't got their moneys worth out of Jones, but time will tell...

I just wish the coaches polos were open to the public to buy, which after hearing RV talk a couple weeks ago they will be in the Spirit Shop in the new stadium. As of now though it's almost impossible to find a kelly green UNT polo. The only place I know of that sells them is something..com. It's so pathetic that the UNT Bookstore and Voertman's don't carry green polos. Can you imagine walking into the A&M bookstore and not being able to find maroon polos? No way! Only at North Texas...

19,000+ is not a good crowd for a team coming off a bowl win and a legit shot at winning their conference this year.

My bad on the song title (can't believe I missed that), but to me and a couple of my friends it's more of a high school thing. In fact, Bruce Channel is a Grapevine High School alum and came back to Grapevine to preform the song live during my senior year at GHS as part of Grapevine's 100 year celebration. He actually wrote the song while still a student at GHS so I love telling people that "Hey, Baby" is Grapevine High's song.

I just wish they would stop playing "My Girl." It just screams high school.

I was thinking on a more regional and national level. I know we'll always have our fans who come to games, but Leach would attract some serious attention.

If we pony up with some cash then I think so. Its going to take a hire like that to get people interested in the program.

Actually most of the people who work at KNTU like UNT athletics. I'm surprised there wasn't a mention of the game against Rice because when I worked there last year we always had write-ups for any North Texas athletic event. I agree that more could be done in regards to covering UNT athletics, but you have to remember KNTU serves all of DFW so other things will be covered.

I thought a contract was signed last year to have all these games at the new stadium?!?
