No disrespect to Tune, but he needs to leave. Why would we start a QB that only has one year left when we could start two others with 2 or 3 years left? Especially, when neither is significantly better than the other. With the way Riley has played this year I think he gets the start next year.

Ever been to a Whataburger in College Station? They're decked out in A&M stuff. The tables have the A&M logo on them, the inside of the store is painted maroon and one of the stripes on the roof is painted maroon with the A&M logo. I've always wished one of the 3 Whataburgers around campus would adopt this technique.

She just works at the store in Denton. Awhile ago I asked her why there wasn't any UNT stuff up besides the motorcycle being green. She told me it was because the school didn't allow them to use any trademarked logos by UNT. If you ever go in Freebirds you'll notice the motorcycle has a eagle on it, just not the SOW. To answer your question, no I did not check it out because it doesn't make me THAT mad. Just an annoyance

Super Pit North Texas vs. Texas Tech

UNTcrazy727 thinks it would be better for coach Canales to find work else where. Though UNTcrazy727 wanted Canales to be head coach a different decision was made so North Texas must follow through with that decision. Keeping Canales on board would make it difficult for DMAC to make his impression on this team. I dont think Canales would do anything wrong, but the players might block out DMAC and just listen to Canales. A successful ship cannot have two captains!

The same thing happened to the Taco Cabana right off of campus. Used to have a bunch of UNT pictures and decorations, but when they remodled the store they took them all down. Also, my ex gf works at Freebirds and she told me Freebirds asked UNT if they could use the eagle logo in the store to help create a UNT vibe in the store, but UNT responded with a big NO. This sort of crap pisses me off...a store trying to show pride in the local school asks for permission to use a logo and the school shuts them down! Way to go North Texas...

Hopefully, this is the year we start making this game an automatic W! No offense to UTA, but if UNT wants to realize its goal of becoming a mid-major power like Gonzaga, we need to trounce teams like UTA.

So the question suggests that if the only invitation we receive is from the Mt. West, should be accept? Hell yes, we should accept it so I vote yes. But if we had to decide between the C-USA and Mt. West we should go with C-USA

I would rather be in C-USA over the new MWC. Outside of Boise I don't see any other team that would entice fans to come fill our new stadium. With C-USA we would get more local media coverage and fans could easily travel to almost every away game. I've heard RV talk a few times about conference realignment and he stated the importance of having close rivals that generate fan interest. If we were invited to both conferences I would bet the house we go with C-USA

I played against both of them while in high school and I can tell you without a doubt that Dunbar was better. Dunbar had the misfortune of playing on one of the worst teams in DFW while Newton played on an allstar team in SLC. Switch their teams in HS and Dunbar is starting for UT right now.
