I wish they would have shown us all the different combos...you know, like EVERY school does when they get new uniforms.

I would have been cool with that. Usually, when there's a stripe like that it continues onto the jersey.

I really wish the stripe on the pants was just a plain stripe all the way down. That's my only complaint.

From what I've heard we do have combinations. I don't get why we didn't show them all like every other school does when they get new uniforms.

Is the AD going to release pictures of players wearing the whole uniform in every combination? The jerseys are VERY VERY plain, but I'm going to hold my judgment until I see the entire uniform.

From a first hand source: the helmet with the black stripes is the practice helmet. The game helmets are all green with a white facemask. The uniforms will be very basic, but we will have a bunch of combinations to work with.

I heard that the new uniforms are to be revealed on Friday during media day.

After walking to the student side it made me wonder why our games start at 6. The student section will literally fry for the entire first half the first few games. I know pretty much all the Texas schools start their games at 6, but it's going to be brutal standing over there.

We didn't build our new stadium so we could schedule FCS teams. Our schedule next year is a nightmare right now. The only good thing is that it seems we got out of one body bag game and will at least have 6 home games. That being said, it's going to be tough to pack the stadium when we're playing Texas Southern and USA. Not many fringe fans will pay money to come watch us play pushovers. Sure, we might win these games, but for us to move up in the world of college football we have to get quality opponents in our house and beat them. No one will give a flip if we beat no name FCS teams.

Picking numbers and running sprints aren't exactly news worthy. Sometimes I get annoyed with Vito too, but to criticize him over this is a bit much.
