We need to cancel the LSU, Texas, and Tennessee games now! 2013 could be our year though depending on who we schedule for the last OOC game. The team that year will be senior heavy. led by Orr, Chancelor and Thompson to name a few.

They should just add BYU, Louisville, West Virginia and call it a day. That would be make them a better conference overall than they were a couple years ago, IMO

I've only missed two games in my 3 years at UNT, but I've only been to one pep rally. They're just not very fun. I expect a smaller student crowd, but I wouldn't use pep rally attendance as a reliable indicator.

They would be alright if it wasn't for Ohio being written all over the shoulder. Completely ruins the whole jersey

Something that bothers me about the student section is how the band is right in the middle of it taking up good seats. I wish they would move the band to the far left or right. But I can live with it if they don't

Pretty sure it's been reported that he'll suit up and play, but won't start.

We all understand that, but there is NO EXCUSE to play them twice without a return game. I can understand going up there for one game to get a paycheck, but twice in three years!?!?

I agree with you that I would much rather play Iowa than LSU, but we were supposed to get teams like Iowa at our new stadium, not continue the UNT tradition of playing big time schools multiple times without a return game.

Why would a student spend $16 on a green shirt when they already have a handfull in their closet? Waste of money.

Do they actually think people are going to buy these for $16? If you're trying to have a "green out" and you want it to work the shirts have to be free or REALLY cheap, like $5.

I agree with everything AAUNT said and it's just the sad fact that most students could careless about UNT athletics. For the first game a lot of those students came out of pure curiosity, but we won't get them back until we have a consistent winner. I don't think there will be a huge dropoff in student turnout, but a thoundsand or so less than the UH game.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't see how playing teams like Alabama is attractive for recruits. Playing in a big stadium is cool and all, but getting your butt kicked up your throat isn't really fun. And I don't buy playing these teams makes us any better than if we played a lesser team.

I graduate in December and I'm finally ordering my ring next week. I always loved the green stone in the star so it's a no brainer for me.

Just from the tone of RV's voice a couple of barbershops back when Harry asked him about future schedules I have a bad feeling we're stuck with next year's horrible schedule.
