I didn't mean to say he didn't care the entire time because he was hustling a lot. But there were times his intensity would drop way off and he made a few careless throw ins, one resulting in a turnover. I just think its a result of him not being in game shape and simply because he's so much better than everyone else it's easy to get bored and lose focus. Its a natural thing to do. I agree with everyone on that we're a trillion times better with him, I was just simply making an observation that was shared with many people around me.

I've been worried about this for over a year. The AD should be extremely embarrassed if they can't get 6 home games next year. Absolutely pathetic

NCAA football is huge business with hundreds of millions of dollars being made. Some people think the system in place is illegal because it unfairly disperses the money. Congress gets involved with things like that all the time. Why should this be any different? The NCAA has proven it has lost all power so someone has to regulate this mess.

College Station is the exact same as Denton. The only difference is that they support their local school.

Probably more to do with the fact that not one UNT student has a friend at MTSU. Most rivalries are built between schools whose student bodies know each other well. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part that's the backbone of a good rivalry

A&M should have hired Bama's DC, but in typical Aggie fashion they hire the familiar face even though they are traveling into unknown waters.

If Utah State would agree to it I would take them and La Tech, but if they didn't, give me TXST or UTSA over NMSU. The Aggies are the armpit of division one football. Even though TXST and UTSA are FCS projects, at least they have some excitement around them and hope at becoming competitive. NMSU will always be a bottom feeder and no one wants to make that trip, but everyone would go to SA and San Marcus.

The reason the Sun Belt is so stable is because no other conference wants a team from it. Plain and simple. It's not like Sun Belt schools are turning down offers from C-USA so they can "build the Belt."

The problem is that UNT markets itself to these types of students. UNT focuses on how their the biggest, cheapest and most accessible university in DFW. I never see UNT really putting an effort into building a sense of pride or accomplishment into attending the university. More like, "hey, we're UNT, we have every degree at an affordable price that almost anyone can earn!" Makes us seem like the Wal Mart of universities.

Question: is the coaster set really going to have the Philly Eagle logo on it? I'm usually not one to complain, but that would be highly disappointing

I think it's all BS. I hate college football these days. Boise State is ranked ahead of like 4 teams that are going to BCS Bowls, while they go to the Who Gives A Crap Bowl.

It's hard to have a loyal fanbase when we've sucked pretty much our entire existence outside of maybe 8 or 9 years. It takes time and impressive wins to turn a situation as bad as ours around. Y'all act surprised about the turnout. Seriously, what else were you expecting?

Obviously, the Big East cared about SMU's attendance... Some people need to just enjoy a historic night instead of acting like a bunch of 13 yr old girls
