I think they would, but they're already going to Dallas next year to play SMU so I doubt they'd come to DFW twice in the same year. Plus, they probably want 7 home games next year, but who knows. I want 6 home games, but if we could get a home and home with A&M by playing in College Station next year I'd totally be for it.

The whole tv market thing is pointless because even the schools in big markets could only dream of carrying them. If a school has a good program and fanbase they should have a shot

Playoffs would make A LOT more money than the BCS. Like, a whole lot more. But the school presidents would see a lot less of that money, which doesn't bode well for the playoffs.

Kill the WAC, the Sun Belt and MAC form a football conference much like C-USA and the MWC are doing, that would make 8 conferences for football. Make a 16 team playoff with all the conference champions getting a bid and then selecting 8 at large bids.

If you're playing a team that's good at shooting, especially from deep, the worst thing you can do is go to a zone. They'll whip the ball around the perimeter until the zone falls behind the ball movement or they'll drive the paint, which will suck in the zone. Either of these tactics open up the outside shot. The zone is designed to keep slashers from getting to the rim or it can make it difficult for post players to get good position down low. It's main weaknesses are the outside shot and defensive rebounding. Basic basketball knowledge.

Two 7-5 seasons does not equate to "winning football games." The only reason SMU is moving up is because they are perceived as a somewhat storied program and have A LOT of money!

I don't think anyone believes our AD doesn't want 6 home games. I'm just upset that they even let it come to the current situation. When RV says the standard will be six home games and it isn't accomplished I think any fan has the right to be furious. As many have posted earlier, it seems that other non-AQ schools don't have any trouble getting at least one high profile home game in OOC, but UNT only plays Texas Southern and puts itself through a buzzsaw on the road.

I like that we're playing Iowa instead of the usual UT or OU, but twice in three years with no return game is idiotic on our part. Are we so small in college football that we can't get a return game from a middle of the road big 10 team?

Back in 2008, I'm 99% sure I heard RV say multiple times 6 home games would be the standard from then on out. Especially, with the new stadium coming. I might be wrong, but I don't think I am.

For me it's not as much about who were playing, but the fact the AD promised everyone 6 home games would be the standard from now on and marquee home games against well known teams. It was also said money games would be cut to a minimal amount, but here we are with two in the second season of our new stadium, which honestly I could deal with if we had two good home games, but yeah...nope.

We're not making it very easy on ourselves to get to a bowl game...ugh...

That's why you get to him before he's ready to shoot. Even Dirk has trouble with a double once in awhile. I'm pretty sure it could trouble LSU's 41 more than just letting him pick us a part.
