I've always found this funny because of course the demand wont be there when all you have is a couple crappy tshirts in the back corner of the store. Put some solid designs out from well known companies and you'll sell more.

If someone is pissed that they can't watch a practice or scrimmage they should probably find a new hobby. There are better things to do with your free time.

It's a new design for the web page, but there are no new products. And absolutely no Nike gear.

Their stadium was pretty bad. Not horrible, but they needed to upgrade to fit the kind of program they have in Allen. Is $60 million excessive? Yes, but the football program brings in a lot of money and publicity for the school and town so they feel it's justified.

I know on the traditions page on the university website it clearly states "Mean Green" as our nickname. Whatever thats worth.

Was it the official nickname back then though? I don't think it was, but I could be wrong. Anyways, I've never seen this before and I wish I never had. Sad ending to a game. We had them at their own 15 or so with around 1:10 left? ugh... And why were we bringing 5 or 6 guys at the QB so much?

I'll be going to the LSU and Houston games. Going to Baton Rouge for the party, but I'm going to Houston for a big road win!

The athletic department isn't going to turn away students. They'd go past 8000 tickets if students were still coming to the gate and tickets in other areas were still available

It's our mascot, but some people don't know the difference between a nickname and a mascot. Though I admit, our situation can be confusing since our nickname used to be the Eagles as well.

We need some type of big eagle on campus. Build a state of the art habitat and have him fly around on game days. A baldy would be best, but I'd take something else. If LSU and Baylor can keep man-eating monsters on campus we should be able to have an eagle lol

I hope they plan to do some MAJOR renovations.

85 degrees is brutal? Hahahaha man you had it so rough... I did those 2-a-days in 100+ heat every year in high school and we did just fine because our coaches gave us the breaks we needed and we only practiced early in the morning and late afternoon. Those coaches truly cared about us and I can't help take offense to your comments. You tell me when high school teams are supposed to practice in August and it not a 100 degrees?
