Jimmerson is a playmaker. It's just hard to run when 8 defenders are in the box.

You obviously haven't been paying close attention to UNT this year. Has our secondary blow a few coverages? Yes, but it's far from our "Achilles heal." That title belongs to our offense and more specifically, our QB situation. Our defense will keep us in the game, but right now I don't think we have an offense to score enough points. My early prediction: UH-28 UNT-17

Why does Vito continue to let Thompson's horrible play slide? The lack of "playmakers" is not this teams problem. A good QB makes solid players, as Vito calls most of our skill players, into "playmakers." Did anyone think Wes Welker was a great WR before he teamed up with Brady? Jimmerson is a playmaker, but he won't become a stud until he gets the bulk of the carries at RB. It's obvious he's our best back, IMO.

That number would be 2 or 3 more if we had a QB that was accurate on his throws of 10+ yds...

Just read Vito's thoughts on the game...pretty much puts the blame offensively on the WRs and let's DT slide. Did he even watch the game last night? If we just have average quarterback play last night we win easily.

There were less students at this game, but like many have said the rest of the stadium was noticeably more full. I was thinking a little over 23K

Finally! A REAL post game show. I never understood why we didn't have one. What we have now is subpar. Spewing out stats and scores and a couple interviews for 30 mins or so wasn't doing it for me.

I can't wait for the day when we no longer create a thread every time we're mentioned on a local sports radio show...
