Most wins since 2004 season. -
pleese I had already made arrangements & my buddy (non UNT grad) was going to listen with me!

I think it goes to the fact we have given this staff the resources it needs in regards to facilities/salary upgrades etc. & are just so hungry for a ROI. after the last regimes lack of performance the current one is paying for our past patience.

Meanwhile DT had 3+ qtrs to get a whopping 86 yards & go 11 for 22 with a 73.6% passer efficiency rating. Why not give Osborne a chance?

So where are you returning from? Also what part of town are you driving up from, I may be solo too, carpool maybe?

Ok call me a pessimist, and don't get me wrong I think these letters are an awesome move; but does anyone else think these might be the work of our SI office, with imput from Dmac? Either way I think it's a great/smart PR move to help fill the stadium I just know in the corporate world these are done by PR peeps with mgmts input, just curious.

DRC: McNulty grateful for start
ScreamingEaglesFan replied to ScreamingEaglesFan's topic in Mean Green Football
I understand everyones pessimism, but 1. How much merit is there to the nepotism charges and 2. Will we ever find out or get much of an explanation regarding it anyway (yo Vito can you stir it up a bit for us)? -
DRC McNulty 11 of 18 for 158 yds 2 INT Osborn 6 of 7 69 yrds 0 INT “I will take a lot from it after looking at film and get better from it.” “I have to learn from those interceptions and get better as the season goes along,” McNulty said.

TULSA, Okla. — North Texas’ latest run of success turned out to be like so many before it over the last seven years. It lasted just one week. UNT came into its game against Tulsa on Saturday with a load of momentum after knocking off Indiana last week and had a chance to win consecutive games for the first time since 2004. That chance slipped away in a 41-24 loss to the Golden Hurricane at H.A. Chapman Stadium on a night UNT was forced to make a switch at quarterback. Freshman Andrew McNulty made his first start in place of Derek Thompson, who led UNT to its win over Indiana and started the Mean Green’s first four games of the season. Okay i'll be the first to admit it was especially hard watching the game, and seeing so many back steps after all the progress we have been making. So I went to a source that has never failed me when I needed motivation or encouragement to get something done. Hope it helps you as much as it helped me. Some may find it incredibly cheesy, but oh well. Great speech Link to words of wisdom Or this one. Maybe Dmac should share it with the squad, I wonder how many of today's youts' are familiar with it.

Denton is the official HQ for Sooner Fans...

It's finally working, but was definitely not worth the wait. It looks like website 101. -
I know Babe Laufenburg was there and was curious about any other notables/ donor types. Also have they determined where recruits are going to sit, and were many on hand? Feels great to get a win, and am looking forward to many more!!

I think it's a great idea, and think its another great opportunity to build the association and meet new people. I wonder if they'd be leery due to the liability aspect, but nonetheless think it's definitely worthy of discussion with them.

Why the Metroplex will soon be GREEN
ScreamingEaglesFan replied to ParksAndRecRick's topic in Mean Green Football
I agree wholeheartedly. I was at my daughter's cheerleading game and happened to mention the game. Another one of the cheerleaders parents piped in that the stadium was really nice, and they were planning on getting going to check it out. We hear the 100k number thrown around, and we are literally everywhere, and with what's happening it's about to explode, in a good way. -
So I was talking about this weekends' game and the new stadium to which prompted a very deep question from my son. After telling him we weren't going to be playing at Fouts anymore he responded, are they still gonna have the fun zone with the bounce houses, to which I assured him they would. Which prompted my question since i'm not sure where it's going to be, has anyone heard?
