I predict that... I will attend all the home games.... I will tailgate for about 3 of them(as I have a preteen, a toddler, and one on the way), anymore tailgating and I think I'd be pushing my luck with the wife... I will not declare that I am watching the worst football in div 1 college football this year... I will giggle when my toddler holds her right hand up in the shape of a claw and caws... I will curse under my breath when I see burnt orange and maroon in our stands... I will talk about how cool it will be when we have a new stadium... I believe that the capacity was prefaced with "A general snapshot of the stadium" so I would be willing to bet it will be a little higher than was stated in he article. besides the joke is our attendance... not the new capacity. if we can sell the new stadium out consistently for 5 or 6 home games for the first couple years, then affording the expansion project shouldn't be a problem. I imagine that going to games in a stadium that doesn't closely resemble a toilette will help with attendance somewhat...but until we can get people in the stadium we should not be concerned with total capacity... unless we put dummies/manniquins in the extra 20k seats to create the illusion that the stadium has people in it. I can just see it now...wow attendance is 50% higher now, but they aren't one decible louder than before... weird. Can you imagine if we host a big big name opponent and the stadium is 75% opposing fans? How maddening would that be? especially if games go as they have with big name opponents in the past.

So lets see... 33,366(# of students) * 10($'s) * 12.5(avg credits per student per semester) = 4,170,750 * 2(spring and fall semesters) = 8,341,500 dollars per year So when does this fee start? When the stadium opens or 2010 or ... ???

I sincerely hope this is a bunch of sarcasm/joking that isn't translating very well via message board... If we get a transfer at any position... from a program like OU...a very talented kid, especially one that has good grades and doesn't have any off the field problems... And this is the thread we come up with? Apologies to those of you that were sincere in your enthusiasm for this kid, but the rest of you are out of your minds.
