Did anyone happen to notice byu detroy oregon state last night? The discussions a couple of weeks ago surrounding the mwc being less impressive than the "bcs" conferences just took another hit. tcu > texas this year by the transitive property? where is the evidence to prove otherwise? if you can honestly say that you feel things worked out and the best 2 teams are in the national championship game... For some reason people just can't comprehend that what has been traditionally "true" isn't necessarily true now... Based on what I've SEEN, tcu is the real deal. same scenarios in the past.... Utah would have given a game to ANYBODY last year, including the almighty florida, OU, ut, or texas tech. What they did to Alabama was very convincing. Are you going to ignore this? Utah from a couple of years ago would have hung with anybody that year when a-hole urban meyer lead them to a victory over pittsburg. Do you remember how dominant they were with Alex Smith at the helm there? Boise State finished one of the best college football games I have ever seen beating OU, who was supposedly going to drill them. Remember, they didn't have a chance before this game started? Who is to say that tcu wouldn't do the same thing with anybody? to ignore the recent past and tcu's resume this year is comical. You can want tradition to hold true all you want...or want tradition to not hold true... whatever your stance. You are probably not going to change your mind. Admitedly, I root for the "little guy"(even though I think this is a very outdated outlook on college football) since I went to school at UNT and still hold out hope that we will get our s together and build a program. In conclusion, I believe Emmitt is absolutely correct in saying that the on the field resume for TCU is as impressive as they come. To say anything less would be basing opinion on preconceived notions regarding how the traditionally powerful conferences are supposedly still superior...and nothing more. If you want to believe this, go ahead, but I personally would giggle at anybody clinging to what they think they know about traditionally who is better than who and ignoring the evidence before us. NOBODY IS GETTING FIRED IN THE MIDDLE OF THIS SEASON. everyone should just live with it until the end of the season. Then the people in charge(not us) will decide what to do. Until then, I don't give an s about anybody talking about firing anybody... it is a waste of cyberspace. I had to leave when it was tied at 49 to get home in time to trick or treat with my little girl. The ONLY thing I'm mad about is this game getting moved back to 3:15 instead of 2:00. OTHER THAN THAT, this was a win. nothing more is needed. stop your whining, and enjoy it until Saturday. based on what I've seen for the last couple of years, it is hard for me to imagine that we are a decisive favorite over anybody. I keep coming back for more each week though... I keep telling myself that this week is going to be different. definition of insanity, or staying loyal to my school... you be the judge. on a side note, I am still a texas rangers fan. the evidence supports insane in the membrane. If we don't beat wku, I may go to the army game with a bag over my head... and a flask under my bag... my wife would be so proud.

obviously Riley doesn't have the athleticism to be on the field at all... on a side note, I believe that there has been a study done proving the use of water-less urinals causes blindness and irrational conclusions...

My new boss is a florida grad, and one of the first conversations I had with him I mentioned Utah winning the national championship last year and how much I hate the sec blowhard... oh yeah, and how were are 1 and 0 against the gators all time.(thank you to a coworker for that nugget) oooops...

unt 35 fau 2 UNT puts it all together and begins a run of mistake free football to end the season on the highest of highs leading into next year... except for that bs holding call in the end zone on a play where dodge hits a 99 yard pass play for a touchdown... man I hate those zebras... funny how my coffee tastes like it has bailey's in it this morning. gmg

It was a great fan experience. My friends and I sat in the chairs in the front row. It was really nice. You are right on about the commercials and the picture quality. I got there pretty early, so I was teased with the pic quality from the baylor ou game beforehand. that was disappointing. The other game distro wasn't very good. they doubled the "lesser" game in louisanna for part of the game when they could have put the michigan game on...or something else... I went to ask about that, but the server wasn't much help there. atmosphere was pretty cool. when we took that 10 point lead going into the 4th, it was a fun time. I could have done without the kick to the groin at the end...but I would guess that would be the case for all of us. Those chairs were really nice. very comfy. they were a bit awkward when trying to eat, but they were made for sipping some 2 dollar ziegen bochs whilest enjoying some college football... If I can get another hall pass, I'm in for the next one.

I'm crossing my fingers that they are who we made them look like they are? They do look dominant now, but we will see... I hope we can say that we were utterly dominated by the best in the land. We will see when the season is finished.

why are we fighting? I'm glad we are playing at Texas in 2014. I turned down tickets to go to see Tech there this weekend... Now I'll get my chance to see UNT take on that ugly burnt orange school...

My first reaction was, I just had lasik, and I think I am having trouble reading our "jumbo" tron... my phone says one thing and the scoreboard says something completely different. We were flipping out... checking our phones in the rain... mass hysteria... in between losing my voice yelling for the defense... That OU and OSU/USC score thing was just cruel. I wonder who was responsible for doing that. very poor form. I personally cared more about the game we were at, but any casual fans that come to the games are not coming back if they get misinformation on the "big" screen...

The committment was good last night... but, yes, the students do need a "line" defined for them that they should not cross... I find myself getting fired up too and having to censor myself.... BUT, if you sit your family by the student section, I think you are setting yourself up for being upset. students are students... not saying its right, but the risk factor is much higher learning some new vocabulary....
