soo... I think I am over the kool-aid binge I've been on for the past couple of days... I was very impressed with Stock replacing Phillips in the Indiana game... Tulsa is a solid football team. They can score. Their d may be suspect though...although they are getting some reinforcements back. Tulsa: 38 UNT: 30 I think we give them a game, but I think the golden Hurricane has too much at home for us. Lance gets 120 on the ground though.

Doesn't it make more sense for the WAC and MWC...then the SBC and CUSA and MAC team up? Travel costs and all... This should be an interesting weekend for SBC vs CUSA.

I dare each and every one of you wear wear one of those stupid band uniforms. Look at a uniform. Look at it. Band uniforms are one of the dumbest "traditions" that we have out there in this country. They were originally supposed to be quasi-military uniforms, I guess...and then they have transformed from there. I'd say our Green Brigade members resemble musicians much more than military servicemen/women... I really don't think matching t-shirts are all that important, but that just gives them a "uniform" look. Wear green and get over it. What a stupid waste of energy to discuss this. THEY SOUNDED GREAT, AND LOOKED JUST FINE! If they show up, play well, and root on the football team...maybe even prompting the crowd to get into it, then great! The band is there to enhance the football game experience, and it just so happens that our band is better than 99% of any other one out there... If they didn't come to the games, our stadium would look even more empty. This thread should be erased and forgotten. Oh, wait, what was I thinking, if the Green Brigade was wearing uniforms, we'd be 4 - 0...I'm sorry. Forgive me for being so stupid.

It is hard to tell where either program is right now. They have the hardest schedule in the country so far, and ours has been pretty stout too. They are getting some guys back...but have been hit hard with some injuries(I think we remember what that is like). It will be an excellent test. We shall see. Against Indiana, both of our lines played pretty well, (dunbar, outlaw, and bynes) made some plays, and I really liked how our linebackers played... Can't wait to see...

I'm a ticket listener, and this is my biggest gripe about the station. They are full of UNT grads, and they just rare back and kick georgy in the nuts about UNT. I can't listen to Grandpa Urine. He is just too generic good ole boy for me. I will listen to him on occasion during the ticket's commercials. George is the only positive voice we've got out there right now. That being said, Grandpa urine mentioning us(although it sounds like sarcasm) is at least a mention... Winning and filling our stadium will at least make this a bit better.

good to see their fanbase being somewhat supportive... even though they are so far ahead of us it isn't even funny. Compare that with smoo fans...they have 2 years of some success, and well, they act the way they act. I have enjoyed the tcu rise. I really enjoyed watching that rose bowl last year. I will personally be in Tulsa hoping for a winning streak, but I will atleast have an eighth of an eye on wishing for frog poo being flung all over the pink polos this weekend.

Lets think through this for a second. What has Mac talked about in his recent past? He talked about Tim Tebow being one of the best leaders in the history of college football. What did Florida do with Tebow in his first year? They played him on short yardage and goal line situations... He is trying to groom a leader. He sees something in McNulty as a Freshman. Time will tell here. Lets see. I know we've only beaten maybe the worst AQ conf team in the country, but so far, I am going to trust in Mac. Granted, I was willing to trust in Dodge for a period of time, so here's to destroying my own credibility one post at a time...
