which game did the o-line play better for? The Lance Dunbar game at fouts, or the game in Manhattan a couple weeks ago? I guess you'd have to say this year even though the final margin was larger cause kstate is highly rated, so far, this year. But, Lance put up cartoon numbers against them in the Fouts finale... How is smoo not on this list? Are they paying espn too? Barely a whimper against Baylor and aTm, with a win over an fcs school. I am pretty sure they got blown out by their bye week too.

What would get me excited more than anything would be some 3* DLine kids... DT's especially. As the kids Mac has brought in have more years under their belts of conditioning and coaching(technique and maturation), I feel like the team will improve by leaps and bounds. Pass rush and stopping the run, to me, wins games. Although Troy's bread and butter was the shotgun snap, pivot to the right or left and throw it out to the wr at the line of scrimmage(so pass rush wasn't a factor), I still feel like DT's.... in numbers, is where we need to focus and get excited if we get 4 or more...

A bad alum(just rails on our precious mean green) and I were having a "discussion" about the fg kicking game, and I stated that I thought the kicking game would be a strength going into the season. He asked me why, and I told him that Olen was a pretty solid kicker... We looked at the stats for the last 2 seasons, and it was kind of shocking to me what I saw... Blocked fg's aren't tracked for a kicker's stats, but I was shocked to see that Olen only made 50% of his kicks as a sophomore, where in his freshman year, he burst onto the scene with 87%... I, too, watched the broadcast the next morning after attending. Think it was obvious who was paying for the broadcast. Nice to see positive spins on everything for UNT. Stadium looked good, student section looked packed. Wings stuck out cause they were empty. Alumni side looked less full than I expected. They missed some things in the broadcast like who the penalty was on in the trice int play. They were obviously selling apogee and the environment. Maybe too much... That is fine with me though. Barnett has a very good voice, but there were a few awkward moments in some of the interviews, like mercer and Villarreal. Other than that, it was very nice to be able to see the game in person and rewatch with commentary and a nice looking broadcast. Atmosphere can get better over tv with more people in the stands. Not bad though overall. GMG

So, is there a reason it is listed as start time on channel 21 directv shows 7? Wanted to watch again at home for full analysis after seeing the game from my awesome seats in Apogee. I know Dave Barnett is doing play by play.

I would like to point out how well DT performed. Yes he had a pick, but he put the ball on the money a couple of times(in addition to the 2 td passes) where the receivers flat out dropped them. I thought he showed poise and accuracy against this LSU defense that is one of the best, if not THE best in the country... of course Bama and a few other have a ton to say about that even after just the first week of the season... Anyways, as long as we are giving props. Receivers, outside of Chancellor, have plenty to of "catching up to do". Ok, that was bad, but you get my point. Can't wait for the home opener, even though it is Texas Southern. Go Mean Green!
