    The problem with "Fly like an Eagle" is that it's been cut from an entire song to two short riffs played over and over. And there's this abrupt stop before restarting. There's no life to it that way.

    Back in 96, when I was living in Austin, my wife won tickets to the game against Notre Dame, and we sat up there. It reminded me of sitting in the upper deck of old Yankee Stadium when I was a kid. Practice your mountain climbing - it's that steep. You better not have vertigo.

    The story I heard is that the pavillion was originally designed for the Lettermen's club, but they decided they didn't want it. Since it was already designed, it was offered to the Alumni Association, who then had to scramble for donations to get it built while the stadium construction occurred. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been built at all. Chris can correct me if necessary.

    TSU has played in the Dynamo's soccer stadium since it opened. They were given a sweet deal by the city of Houston. It makes sense for them to stay there, since the capacity of that stadium is only about 20,000, compared to the 40,000+ of the new UH stadium.
