Had my parents journey up to Denton for some UNT garb shopping....Target, Sports Authority and Wal-Mart had no Mean Greeg Gear...Only place they could find shirts, hats, cups, stadium seats and the like was: Voertmans and the campus bookstore... Absolutely pathetic... Academy in Lewisville has nothing for UNT... What can we, as loyal supporters and alumni, do to see progress made in this sector besides continue to ask store managers and employees who lack motivation and authority to see changes made? (legit question, not sarcastic)

I drink my green cool-aid by the pitcher, and hate to think good money was wasted on a bad product (Season Tickets, Mean Green Club Donation, etc...) for the 3rd straight year... With that said, I feel 4-6 wins is not out of the picture...I can't bring myself to limit us to 1-11 or 2-10...I'm seeing 3-9 or 4-10 as realistic... I still lay my head down at night dreaming of 6 wins and a bowl game....A man can dream right? So what does everyone else think....I'll shut up and listen...

Prayers are with you both during this time...My wife was told she'd never have kids due to polyps and tumors on her uterus and 4 months after surgery, we found ourselves pregnant... And by no means does this rectify the situation, but as a fellow devoted fan who'd hate to see a fellow devoted fan become disheartened, I would be willing to help offset the costs of your season ticket, thus removing your financial support of the institution, and hopefully allowing a window of opportunity for you and the wife to enjoy a scholarship year of fandom. I'll be at every home game with the bus, good brisket and good company, and we'd love to have you stop by, even if you don't actually attend the game.... Watched the scrimmage...All in all came away optimistic, but realistic... There was definately a fire and a passion I haven't seen in a few years... Honestly was just happy to get the wife and 1 yr old out for some football on a beautiful Saturday morning... Kudos to the Athletic Department, coaching staff or whomever was responsible for the decision.

Then I'll be there with the wife and kiddo sans lawn chairs...

I have no issues with a D-1AA as a season opener, I'd rather open the season against a MAC team than a 1-AA however. I don't like doing it every year, because we can't use the win for bowl eligibility every year, only every other, and by the light of a blue moon, and other well thought out NCAA regulations... I'd be much more interested in getting games against Houston, Rice and SMU on a home and home basis...That's a way to open the season, SMU at home...Isn't our season opener always almost on the roas? I do think this years schedule is one of the better we've had in the last few years..

Gonna try and make the drive up and watch...Is it standing along the fence lines only? Should I bring the SUV so I can sit on the roof with the lawn chair and binoculars like a NASCASR infield?

RV Parking is at the South End...My Pops Brings out his Bus, sets up the 36" under the canopy, gets the grill going and I pull right up to the last row right behind him and we tailgate there...I buy an extra pass every year so we have one for the bus, and one for a follow car... We'll have the flags flying and be there in full force this year...Still waiting on my season tickets and parking, but we're chomping at the bit!
